I'd try a 2 of Manning & Ball in front of the back 4..... Kelly Kane/Rangle, Hall, Masterson, Wallace Ball, Manning BOS, Eze, Chair Hugill
Thats my idea of the line up two but it will be Kane sadly and Amos will be one of the CDM pair. Outside possibility that he might use Pugh and give Chair a rest.
Agreed. Would even try Kakay. Such a shame we can’t drop Hall as there’s literally no one else. Amos seems to have played a lot recently and is due a game off even if he’d been playing ok which he hasn’t been.
I still think Manning would struggle playing centre mid. I expect Ball and Amos to start there today. I expect Eze will be played out of position, although **** knows which position tinkerman will come up with for an obvious number ten.
What Amos looked really good at was pressing and ball winning, in 3 5 2 formations usually, earlier in the season, but we don't seem to press much anymore, and Amos playing deeper looks very ordinary at best. I think Manning looks too one footed to play anywhere other than left side, but he's a poor LB, and also seemed better playing in 3 5 2 as a wing back where he got in many good crosses. But his passing ability seems to have also deserted him of late, so I don't want see him start till he gets some form back.
Manning falls over far too much for my liking. As my old fella used to say to me "you cant play the game sitting on your backside son".
You can pretty much guarantee regardless of scoreline he’s off on exactly 65 minutes. ****ing Premier League crèche.
With the players we have available today, I'd like to see this line up: --------------------------------Kelly---------------------------- Angel-------------Hall-----------Masterson-----Wallace ---------------------Ball-------------Amos-------------------- BOS--------------------------Eze----------------------Chair ----------------------------Hugill-------------------------------
Expected line-up with little to bring off the bench but at least there’s some valuable learning time for Jack Clarke at the expense of Oteh.
