Deano and Fettis (both the first time round), first time I remember as a kid understanding the concept that your favourite players leave - was reminded of it last week as I had to explain to my son that both Bowen and Grosicki were on their way, he was just as gutted as I remember being.

Ian Ashbee. Should have been given a testimonial.

    Too many to mention.

Elliott - What a player he was in his prime.

The saddest for me was Michael Turner. I was obviously gutted when the likes of Ash, Deano and co left, but Turner signalled the end of the up bit of the roller coaster that we'd been on sine the KC was built. He'd been our best player for two-and-a-half years, he was pretty much holding our defence together (look at how any of his partners fared after he left), and with him we stood a chance of staying up that season. However, selling him at the last minute for way less than he was worth to us, and replacing him effectively with Sonko was just horrible. Coming on the back of Ricketts leaving for a mere £2m a few weeks earlier, it felt that that great, history-making side was now done with. At the time it all seemed to unnecessary, and it felt like it was done dishonestly. Obviously I've spoken to both Brown and Duffen now, and I still don't know the truth, though it does seem that it was a sale borne of necessity. It just signified a point when I knew the dream was over and we were embarking on nightmare territory. It also has echoes of my second most gutting departure, that of Jobbo, whose departure was the harbinger of what I will simply refer to as 'the Nineties'.

As a kid, I remember being much aggrieved about Saville, Bunn, Parker, and Dyer leaving. Askew and Norman too (although offset by Billy returning). Pretty much anyone back then though I suppose. Looking back we had a pretty decent team under Horton that probably should have done more.

In more recent times, I think the sale of Michael Turner annoyed me the most.

In no particular order and there's many more I've not got time to mention.

Oh and myself. I miss me playing football.

There's loads of them over the years, the 2 which have hurt the most were Turner and Bowen for me, different reasons, Turner due to the utter mismanagement of the club and Bowen as possibly the best attacking player we've ever had and my 6 year old's first footballing idol.
