spot on maguire is a lucky guy ended up at manchester united he is nowhere near a top level defender, he really is not, i watch a damn lot of football and for a 26 year old, he is nowhere near the top level players, 80m is ****ing laughable the fact man utd are ran by a clown means they signed him for 80m the turkish guy at leicester is better than him for a start harry maguire is literally micheal turner 2.0
no its not at all, heading the ball and taking the ball upfield is not what makes a world class defender, due to ollys man utd, magurie has to be compared as a 80m defender and van Dijk is what a world class defender is. watch more football mate, maguire is not even in the the top 20 best defenders in the world. the guy is 26 and you think he is worth 80m? have a look at the top level of defenders and you will see how dumb your message was i know it. but wow we lost bowen and groshitski can this team win a game again? its all over aint it
if you want a world class defender check van Dijk, the best defender in a long time, but again he was in the spl, maguire is literally a bread and butter english defender, but thats not what makes you a top player i spend almost all my freetime watching football maguire is 26 years old, he is a bang average english defender he can head the ball and take it out of the box but at the top level you need far more as i always said i know what im on about i didnt expect robertson to win the champs league and prem, but i knew hed join a top 4team but maguire ****e ps. **** any teams under the cruel oil overlords of the middle east cause man city are a joke
i said mccan would get us promoted, he would have but we lost bowen and groshitski now league 1 awaits us SO LETS ****IN GOOOOOOOO
WALLSALLL HERE WE COMEEEEEEE WE ****ING BEAT THEMMMMMM OHHH GRANT MCANNNNNNNNNNNN burton lets gooooooooooooooooooooo league one we ****ing win it all we are hull cityyyyy lets ****ing gooooooooooooo
Didn't we offer him a coaching role but he took the job with Brownie & PNE as he wanted the extra year playing? Or is that my memory playing tricks on me? Either way, I'd love to have seen him finish his career here and stay on in some coaching/ambassadorial role. A real shame.
I thought we'd offered him a 1-year contract, but he wanted the extra year. I also recall (I think) he'd fallen out of favour a bit possibly to do with spending too much time with Jimmy Bullard and discipline gone a bit awol?
Little nige wanted rid of Ash Couldn’t handle him as a man, Adam Pearson backed him up. And shamefully as it was Adam many in here agreed Percy might be along to put more details into this
He didn't want to leave. He felt he was given no choice by Nigel Pearson. Adam Pearson did back his manager, but to be fair that's what a good chairman/CEO does with a manager in my opinion (and Ash told me he has no problems with AP). I felt Ash had started the season in poor form (that goal on the opening day giving him a bit of leeway) but had improved a lot as he'd found his fitness. It was a shame when he left, and I was gutted seeing him play in Preston colours at the KC. Given that he only played 26 games for Preston, however, I do sometimes wonder if it was better that we saw him leave as the player who was close to what we recognised, not someone pretty much playing on one leg (as described by a Preston-supporting colleague of mine at the time). My biggest regret is that we couldn't give him a proper send off.
