We are though aren't we. How many 'football' players have we got? De Wijs at a push, Elder, Da Silva, Batty, Toral (gone at the end of the season), Stewart, Samuelson maybe. Maybe others will offer some more names up. The only decent midfield 'enforcer' type might be Stewart. Lichaj can do a job defensively but limited going forward. Bowler and Kane (loans).

Eaves, Magennis (better than Eaves in my opinion but not by much), Wilks, Honeyman! Not good enough. They cannot play 'football' at anything like the pace needed. Neither can Irvine.

We will have to see what the new lad from Motherwell can do.

All in all it's pretty dire.

Swansea are there for the taking. Proper ****.

If we still had decent Groundsmen they’d have been placing dollops of sheep **** at strategic spots around the pitch to distract them from their game:

We’ll win handsomely 3 nowt with or without the sheep ****.

I won’t be going, I probably won’t be watching either.

I will chuck the odd comment in though.

I say hogwash because he is only on a short contact and the cruel injury list is hardly helping or his fault. He'll see his contract out at the very least. Ehab wont sack him at this stage. He doesn't need too TBH. Agree about some of his decisions etc, but Adkins made plenty of strange ones too, it's what managers do. Its only last month when we were seriously sniffing a Play Off spot and McCann hasn't become a bad manager in a month.
A couple of early goals on Friday and every one will be smiling again.

I honestly hope you’re right, and I hope the turnaround starts on Friday, I’ve just about recovered enough from Tuesday to get up at 3am on Friday morning.

Short turnaround though, that doesn’t bode well for me.

I'd be happy with that formation and the team, as OLM said I would like to see KLP be upfront with McGennis.

The team need a change of formation, even if it is just doing something different to get them out of this rut.

Again, can't see us getting anything from this game, so would be happy with a point.

Goals change games, but I can't see were the next one is coming from, we've gone from threatening to score a couple in every game, to being crap offensively for the last month, its as much to do with tactics for me as it is with Jarrod and Turbo leaving. The opposition goalies may as well go on holiday when they play us.

    I'll take a dull 0-0 now

I’ll be there, glutton for punishment, or masochist, probably both! Tbh, if McCann is stubborn and or stupid enough to persist with his “one size fits all” approach to games and game management, I fear the worst. I sympathise with the injury crisis, but he needs to adapt with what he’s got. We need to get back to basics and batten down the hatches, defenders need to defend and close danger down, not turn their backs and give the opposition time and space to pick their shots, as happened Tuesday.

I want to see some character in players on the pitch. When the first goal went in Tuesday, heads dropped, body language shocking, everyone looked defeated, but at 1 down you’re still in the game! I want to see somebody getting a grip and motivating to pick up. Again, after 2nd went in, body language atrocious.

I see Honeyman yesterday the latest player coming out spouting off about play off abilities, I want to see more walk the walk, less talking. The same from McCann, saying he couldn't fault his team commitment, deluded if he can’t see change is needed. Less talk, more walk!

Until the Allams engage with the trust, I'm still boycotting. Won't be watching on the telly either (never do, can't stand Sky either), will look up score on BBC at 10pm then come on here to see what you lot think. Not optimistic to be honest, hope we don't get humiliated like against Brentford. If we do, change is needed. Rapidly

And that’s my opinion of him

as Leon says the same posters have said were **** beginning of every season the past few years and will be relegated,
No one wants to come here isanother one.
We’re signing league one players as that’s were we will be is another.
trotted out by the same posters after every defeat.
Strangely enough I thought been a city fan you’re a bit partisan but nah can’t wait to do ya down and **** on our own club.

The biggest moaners now about kamil going are the ones who’ve done nowt but slag him off for the time he’s been here!!
    go figure
I’d say it’s inadequacy in life so they slag something off , hull city, to make themself feel better. There’s a way to criticise but certain posters appear to revel in a defeat.
But what do I know I’m only a city fan on a city forum, defending my team.
