Unfortunately I will miss the first half owing to the early kick off.
Hope to see the second half.

We're coming down for this...my wife is coming to this one (after swearing that she wouldn't attend again after the Everton debacle earlier this season) some how she hasn't cottoned on re the weather so I'm keeping quiet about it at the moment! But come on man up you lot.
Incidentally I took my (unfortunately departed) Dad to St Mary's when he was 96, sure this isn't a record but something I'm proud of !...March on!

Love the idea of JayRod as a ventriloquist, I wonder if he'll have a gottle of geer with some of our lads after the match?..

I can put up with the rain.

I can put up with the wind.

I can put up with Ashley Barnes (if fit).

I can put up with Burnley.

I can put up with Vestergaard getting his legs tangled (if selected).

    But Simon Hooper as referee?...

No 3pm Saturday kick offs this weekend. That seems wrong!

Deal done with Sky and BT to compensate for the winter break. No Sat 3pm kick offs means every game can be televised.

Do we ever win in rubbish weather? It feels like we lose everytime it pours down and blows a gale. Still excited to get some more football in.

Have got into parking in Woolston and drinking post match in Olaf's Tun. Walking back and forth over the Itchen Bridge should blow away any Valentine's cobwebs..

There is no such thing as the wrong weather just the wrong clothes. I will dress for the rain as I can't afford to get a chill but I will be there.

Absolutely! BUT despite all the fantastic possession play the aggregate for the last two games is 7-2 against us. Ok Liverpool are a class apart no doubt so that helps to explain things but the fact is we lost both games despite playing the better football for most of the playing time. We will at some point the reasoning goes completely flatten a weaker team, that is the hope but possession and a fantastic passing game as we now have must be turned into goals. I honestly think we will, as I’m sure Ralph will be hammering the point home, especially after the Spurs game.

I think the problem is more at the other end, we should've scored at Liverpool but the two against Spuds should've been enough for a result on the day.

I think both realised that if the sit deep and narrow and force us to cross the ball into a packed box we are less likely to create anything with our heading ability and that we are weak to the quick counter which is where nearly all of those goals came from. Both those teams have good pacey counter attacks and were pretty clinical. I also think we tire towards the end of a match.

I'm still taking it as a positive that like likes of liverpool were forced to change their game to counter us though.

    Ralph's press conference is 1.30.

Couldn't post actual tweet from Saints' site as no idea how to do it after the change to twitter page. The page used to be easy to read and use...now just a mess, so hardly look.

Looking at the forecast I reckon if this game was scheduled for Saturday evening or Sunday it would be in serious danger of being postponed. As it is the early game on Saturday I think it will be fine.
