And I duly explained that somebody had added a 'match day thread' read prefix to it so I take that at face value, then merge the threads when DD's appears on the site. I didn't 'promote' anything. I saw a red MDT prefix, made it a sticky, as I do each week regardless of the thread instigator...and assumed that was that. Then Dunc's appeared so I merged them. Job done, I thought. How wrong I was
You changed the title of the F.A cup thread which made the poll completely pointless. We are all aware the threads I put up are crap but they have the bare bones. Title Poll Line ups No problem that you merged the Liverpool thread with the YouTube goal thread . You just left it there dormant with N/A. I honestly don't care who does the threads but over the years P.C canary KIO etc usually give up half way through the season and we end up with no thread at all. I questioned why you changed the title and you responded. And I can't see the point of you monkeying about with the threads I put up. My toys haven't been thrown anywhere, do the threads yourself if the lack of content is not satisfactory.
The main problem as I see it Dunc is that Cromer is totally lacking in a sense of humour, I think he must have had a by - pass, or even a ring road!
I'm not sure that's the case Dave , I have never had any issues with him . There are barely any new threads on the board so hardly any need to edit the few put up. Better off locking this and hope that someone else can be bothered to start one for the next games .
I am absolutely sure there were no malicious intentions from Cromer for monkeying about with the threads but if I go to the bother of typing them up and he removes or changes them for no valid reason , the little effort I put in is pointless.
I have begged and pleaded with him, God I would even buy him a pint if I wasn't so bloody tight. You can hear me coming by my squeaky arse!
If we don't beat Liverpool I'll do the next one, don't want to make a drama and Cromer is a good guy it was just annoying.
BBC viewers will be able to choose between two games on both Tuesday and Wednesday next week as the FA Cup reaches the fifth-round stage. While BBC One broadcasts Chelsea v Liverpool on Tuesday, West Brom v Newcastle will also be streamed on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and app. On Wednesday, coverage of Tottenham v Norwich will run alongside Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City.
13:34 DF: Alex Tettey and Teemu Pukki are doubts, they couldn't train yesterday due to illness, so there's a question mark behind their appearances. It's 50/50 with them, they feel better today but we have to see how they react. 13:33 DF: He has some problems in his tendon, he had another scan and has to see a specialist. It's a tricky assessment right now. It's not good news for us. 13:33 DF: Zimmermann is not available for tomorrow, he's still unable to train.
Because he's our most talented midfield player He was our best player in the run in last season. He is also our best dead ball player.
