I arrived ten minutes before kick off and you couldn’t tell there was a game on, nobody on Anlaby Road, nobody walking round the ground, it was weird.
But 9,700 there apparently. I went to this, and to the Derby last week (I know, I know, don't start!) And I had the Derby as being around 22.5k, and it was announced as 19.5k, and had tonight at around 5.5k and it was 9.7k!!
I went to both games as well and in all honesty the atmosphere tonight was better, the only noise last week came from the Rovers fans
Just got home and yes it did feel like a win at the end. Our crowd were good too and got behind the lads, pity more of you weren't there to see it. Shows we have some spirit and fight in the squad.
Ungracious twat Steve Cooper is. His post match interview said all our goals were giveaways and all his goals were well worked. **** off Steve, our defence couldn’t have been more charitable if they tried. What a twat.
I thought the substitutions we made at 3-2 up were shocking. The owners have stripped our squad, we're injury ravaged, but I don't have a great deal of faith in our manager. Sorry Terry
Unusual for me to see three full games in a week. I see much criticism of defensive mistakes, but for me there is a total malfunctioning in midfield that impacts on both ends of the pitch. Defence hit by injuries with inexperienced players alongside different team mates each game - collective mistakes, but some individual heroics like Mcloughlan and tonight Pennington. Whereas in midfield there are well eastablished players who have no idea of their roles in moving us up the pitch. Every team we play seems to have a well grooved understanding of how they will play, where their team ad will be and how to find them. We ever have options available in space to accept a pass, which results in panic long balls. This is a coaching issue. Good result. Poor performance.

**** the ‘going rate wages’ on offer or the chance to play for a so called ‘championship club with a decent recent pedigree’, any player worth his salts coming here would look beyond vulgarities such as wages and contracts. Thank **** little Josh Tymon, oppressed within an inch of his toes here, managed to find football asylum with lucrative 5 year contract with a then PL club.
Well, I didn't watch the game, I can't get motivated enough to wake up at 3 am to watch a game these days. I have to say I never expected this result, but I guess none of us did. It sounds like a defensive horror show, and to be leading 3 times and to lose the lead is really typical of us these days. On a plus side to score 4 goals without Jarrod & Turbo has to be a plus, and it is good to see Wilk's get another goal and for both Lopes & Maddison opening their accounts is good news. Lopes sounds as if he is going from strength to strength, and it is good to hear he is developing well. I guess it is now a case of getting a few more points to make sure we are not pulled into a relegation scrap, and to use the remained of this season to start building for next.
