Exactly, so stick til end of next season and then see if if one of the academy comes good, someone like hoever then has time to develop and come through, if not we can think about targets. Personally i dont think lovren will have any problem playing the role he has now for the world, European and prem champs going into next season. So its pribabmy a mute point anyway.
Everyone seems happy with how they are going along. No need to change what's not broken. Plus I really like the look of Hoover, I've got really high Hope's for him.
Indeed, we could have a nice group of youngsters coming through into the 1st team over the rest of this season and next year too. Im torn a bit because im really hoping klopp uses the kids in the prem once we have the title bagged pts wise, but then i want us to either go unbeaten or at least smash citys pts record too lol
Then don't buy for big money or a backup; buy sensibly that would offer competition. It's not like we don't play enough games to be able to rotate and give players plenty of game time! Even Lovren as played 32.4% (12 of 37) of games this season despite being injured for a chunk of it. Matip as played 27% (10 / 37)
Our defence over the last two games have not been great, Joe Gomez's factor do not seems to be there anymore. We were just last this at the start of the season, our defence has forgotten the basic. Hope we keep a clean sheet against Watford.
What went wrong? Lovren was all over the place and nearly gave away a penalty. His last game for Liverpool I suppose.
