Yes thought same as you when you said, a RB playing in RB position; wtf do I know. Maybe JWP as RB is our best option! <doh>

    Just back.

    Yep we lost.

    **** happens.

Reading some people's reactions on here, I do wonder how they function in 'real life'.

We lost. We are not going down.

It would take an extraordinary run of results for that to happen.

I am often told I am a happy clapper, I am not, I just look at it and ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and think that was a bit ****, thank god we had a good run and thank god we are not Bournemouth, West Ham, Brighton, Watford, or Villa or Norwich.

I am so confident, that anyone that wants to take me up on it, if we go down I will give £500 to Crisis...anyone who thinks we will go down and we stay up put your money where your mouth is and pledge £10 to Crisis on my behalf. You will claw that back with a £0.30 bet right now.

    It really aint happening.

I don’t think we were terrible, who knows we may have got something had djenepo not been sent off.

ive not been to as many games this year but can honestly say VAR is ruining the experience as a spectator. They’re not picking up the clear and obvious, they’re picking every single minor fault. It’s slow and unnecessary.

My dads unlikely to renew his ticket and I won’t get to many games next season.

Other results let us off today, but we should be concerned. We are down to the bare bones & do not look good. Toon are ****e, make no mistake.

We've put ourselves in the position where other results are almost irrelevant to us. We know what we've got to do, and it's not a lot with plenty of games to achieve it.

    Norwich
    Watford
    City......
I wonder how many defeats it would take to still be involved.
I want a win, so this is over. As it stands, we have a margin that is getting marginalised.

I’m in a similar boat. Thought VAR was an absolute necessity before this season but the way it’s been implemented is useless. Funnily though today, I think you could argue it got everything right? The ref only game a yellow which I think was about right but the VAR intervention almost made it inevitable it would be changed for a red. Clear & obvious? Obviously not but I can understand why the change. The pen? I went nuts thinking the officials must have lost it but when you see the reply; all you can do is question Boufal. Regardless tho; I detest it & would bin “tomorrow”. The clear & obvious I wanted eliminated, has in general been lost with it being over critical in offsides & marginal errors. VAR could push me over. Probably not but certainly could & this after a day when I don’t really have any major arguments against it. Very sad imo.

I thought we looked pretty good until the sending off. Even with 10 men we were unlucky not to at least come away with a point

Exactly. Two wins will absolutely be enough, and I’m pretty certain we’ll get them.

Inconsistency is what you’ll get with a good manager and very average players.
