Due to go on 3 day break to Yorkshire tomorrow. Mrs Ford has raised concerns. This is now being debated in the Ford household, should we stay or should we go??
Hotel. We would be breakfasting and dining in restaurant and of course in theory other people will be there. So if we follow governments advice we don't go I guess
Depends how old and how healthy you are I suppose. I’m 60 with a dodgy ticker, but it wouldn’t put me off tbh.
Is Yorkshire any more dangerous than where you are ... ... tell Mrs Ford it's a 3 day quarantine that she thoroughly deserves.
I'm working from home as one of my kids is in the high risk groups. Very worried about this, I've followed it from the start and knew it was coming. My Parents have been getting our groceries and dropping them in the porch for us. Not stock piling, just sensible provisions. I'm keeping the kids off school as well so will be attempting to home teach them to some degree. Without wanting to get political about it, the government are ****ing useless.
Desperately worrying times. I’ve a feeling Boris statement was a case of asking nicely this time but next time it’ll be an order not a request. How are the lockdowns working in other countries? Is it a case of literally everywhere closing? Would Nissan, postal service etc lock the doors? Would it only be supermarkets, hospitals, doctors etc operating?
Pretty much what you're asking has happened in a few of the countries. A lot of car manufacturing has shutdown across europe. I read that in Spain it's only supermarkets, pharmacies and doctors/hospitals that are open.
I wasn’t sure if it was just the small businesses that had locked down. Have a very eerie feel to things with nothing going on outside.
