    I was thinking that about train and bus services being reduced. Whilst yes there are less people on them, putting that same amount of people on less buses seems counter intuitive if they are trying to keep people apart. Shouldn't the services stay the same or be expanded?

    They haven't got the staff, that's one of the main reasons for the reductions in service in the first place.

    I get that. Was more a logistical quandary really.
    They probably need to announce that were are on a guaranteed income for 3 months and send us all home and let the supermarkets become dark stores and deliver only.
    I know that's probably unworkable but all options are on the table.

    Stagecoach and Eyms buses only going to run from 7am to 7pm with no service on Sundays from what ive read elsewhere, thats going to bugger up some night time/shift workers and isnt helpfull just a over reaction imho.

    Today has been awful in this respect. Having to ring parents who had filled in our survey to find out if they had childcare plans only to find out they had just lost their job. Having to keep the 10 and 11 year olds happy and still going when their time at primary school had been cut short. Having to draw up plans to get food out into the community to our free school meals (because it sometimes is the only real meal some kids get a day).

    I’d do this ten times over to do our little bit for the community though.
