Experts strongly advise people with serious health problems to follow the advice. If this applies to you, the shield is for your personal protection – you decide yourself whether you want to follow the recommendations. You can call your doctor to discuss this. What does that mean? It means always staying at home. You shouldn't go shopping or walking in public places – it's okay to go into your garden if you have one. You should avoid any personal contact so that no visitors are present.

I think they are in Much Marcle, Ledbury which is about 30ish miles from me. Some of the Bulmers family live up my lane. There's lots of smaller cider mills all over the county, its a real apple & perrier pear growing area, absolute picture in Spring with all the blossom. There used to be a lovely old chap nearby who had his own press in the garden, very ancient & it was the quaintest place I've ever seen! The smell of fermenting apples was so strong it nearly knocked your head off. He used to tell me how everyone made their own back in the day and some of the old 'uns still do. Way of life. Sadly he died a couple of years ago but well into his 90's. So tell your 'friend' Brian that ciders good for longevity!

I've always had a taste for good English cider. It comes and goes as a fashionable drink but I'm always partial to a drop...or two.

Westons do some very nice ciders and Mrs B does like the Stowford's Press.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been helping out during the coronavirus outbreak by delivering food to elderly members of society near Spurs' training ground in Enfield. (Football.London)

Must be near Ludlow then. Love that place, though haven't been there in a while.

I'm a huge fan of Shropshire - particularly Shrewsbury. I did my University years in Stoke, which is relatively just down the road.

I knew a girl from Much Wenlock, which is stuck in the 50's.....the 1750's. It doesn't have a train line and she used to point out trains if we ever walked by the lines near the university. She came to London once but was horrified by it.

So are people expecting slow, traditional zombies or the fast, modern kind?
