Enough of the doom and gloom, while everyone enjoys being locked indoors for 3 weeks I thought it would be nice to get to know each other a little better.

Everybody likes to talk about themselves don't they? So talk.

I got quoted by the basketball reporter on the website of Canada's biggest newspaper, under my online handle, making a dumb joke. He rated my joke 5/5 stars.

My picture was on the website for some hot sauce emporium because I ate the hottest hot sauce in the world at the time, I'm fairly sure that's a massive achievement.

Myself and a friend of mine (who was a relative of his) poked a member of Canada's federal cabinet on Facebook. He poked back. I feel that counts.

I've only been to football grounds outside of England. They involved school-aged kids.

    Nope.

I broke a finger while playing during recess in school. My teacher informed me that it wasn't broken. It was picture day. My picture for that year features me with a thousand-yard stare because my finger hurt like hell.

I've also broken a couple toes just by walking around. One of those I broke twice: I tried to make a splint for it using cardboard and duct tape, and that caused it to heal at a strange angle. Luckily, a couple months later the toe got caught under my foot while walking and broke again, and it healed fairly normally the second time.

The 1980s. Whichever decade wouldn't involve dealing with the shower of **** that has been the past 20 years.

    Quebec's okay.

I manage all the things at a strange business in a strange land.

No, because I'm not creative enough to think of anything I'd want permanently affixed to me.

I have five fingers on my left hand, but six fingernails.

Ha! That’s going in tomorrow apparently!

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc

I won the school creative writing prize. Also lived on a desert island with twenty other people for six months in the Philippines. We didn’t even have radio, other than a five minute spell at sunrise where you could pick up World Service. Two hours from the next human being.

Do you know or have you met a famous person?

Loads. Probably the most famous that am actually friends with is David Gilmour.

Have you been to a football ground outside of England? Which ones?

Stockholm Arena. That’s actually about it from memory.

Have you seen Saints play abroad?

    No.

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?

Broke a bone in my hand boxing. Broke my thumb playing football. It was a tremendous sliding tackle, but all my weight landed on my thumb! Got the ball cleanly though!

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?

1970s. Would have liked to have been born in the 50s or actually the noughties. Happy with my lot though.

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?

    Italy

    What is/was your occupation?

    Music manager and writer.

    Do you have a tattoo?

Yes. One on my right bicep after I split up with my then fiancée and my dad died. Spur of the moment Celtic band thing. It’s rubbish.

Anything else you would like to tell us that I've missed out? A funny story, something bad, sad or mad?

I once called Jimmy Carr a c**t. Because he is. I was also meant to go on a date with Thandie Newton but I backed out because I couldn’t be arsed. Charlotte Church also asked me back to her hotel room, but I said no because I had to be in London early the next morning for a label meeting with Fable.

Won the caption contest on the Beeb website once - some joke about a snowman conference

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc

Survived my own stupidity, which if you knew me, would realise that is a hell of an achievement. Egon Ronay once ate my soup and told me it was the best mushroom soup he'd ever had. Was wild mushrooms with Madeira. I was 17

Do you know or have you met a famous person?

Met Bruce Willis. By met, I mean gave him a drunken hug and got thrown on the ground by his security monsters.
My nephew was in a movie with George Clooney. Once my nephew is famous, I'll be able to give a more interesting answer as I am his favourite uncle :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Have you been to a football ground outside of England? Which ones?

Camp Nou - just as a tourist

Have you seen Saints play abroad?

    No.

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?

Broke some ribs, kicked by a horse
Broke a few fingers, playing handball
    Broke a few toes, cycling
    Broke my arm, skateboarding
Fractured my skull (twice, motorbike and car crash)
    Broke my back, climbing

I may have alluded to my stupidity earlier

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?

Born in the 60s, would have liked to have been born in about 1950 so that I could have enjoyed the 60s

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?

USA, vast and diverse. Travelled a fair bit in the US and have been to 29 different states.

    What is/was your occupation?

Been a chef, salesman, supermarket manager, pub landlord and I've dipped a toe in the water in at least another dozen industries - had over 30 jobs since 1983.
    Work in IT now.

    Do you have a tattoo?

I have 4 including the Saints badge on my arm.

Do you have any claim to fame? Been on TV, in the paper or on Google Earth (@@St Badger ?) or an interview with the Telegraph (@@Le Tissier's Laces ), crimewatch etc.

Won The Lady short story competition and at one time was a regular writer in women's magazines. My win was reported in the Echo because I mentioned I was buying a Saints season ticket with my prize money. Also appeared on TV in the opening credits of a programme about the new Welsh Assembly...I knew nothing about it, so when asked if I thought it was a good idea I just gave the throwaway line of 'Why not...if it keeps them quiet.' With apologies to our Welsh fans :)

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc

    See above :)

Do you know or have you met a famous person?

The writer Lady Antonia Frazer who presented my writing prize at the Savoy in London. Wow, what an empty life I have had. Also met the writer of Some Mothers Do Have Them.

Have you been to a football ground outside of England? Which ones?

Was on a holiday in Portugal and the coach driver insisted on circling every main football ground we passed. Made everyone laugh (except me because I was enjoying it).

Have you seen Saints play abroad?

When they visited the Isle of Wight and played in Newport. The only won 1-0 and drank the bar dry.

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?

Do I look stupid? This body isn't ever going to be risked.

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?

The '50s. I suppose I would have liked to be born in any decade after because then I'd be younger, but no real complaints. The great thing about being born in 1950 is that it is very easy to work out your age. :)

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?

Italy up till recently, but visited Switzerland recently. Really lovely. Would like to see more of America but probably won't because not so fond of travelling now.

    What is/was your occupation?

Research scientist. Worked for Beechams and then freelanced editing scientific papers. Latterly worked in Marks and Spencer...which was actually good for me in that I socialised more and made some good friends.

    Do you have a tattoo?

So you still think I'm stupid. My body is a temple....you know, old and crumbly.

Anything else you would like to tell us that I've missed out? A funny story, something bad, sad or mad?

A quick review of nearly 70 years reveals...nothing. How sad. :(

    - I'm on google earth in Swanage. From one image my face is blurred out and another image my face isnt blurred out but my crotch is <laugh>
    - I was interviewed for the radio on my way out of Wembley after the JPT.
    - I've been on the French version of countryfile apparently, never seen it though. The French crew came over to the Isle of Wight to film us working.
    - I was filmed and interviewed in Belgium following a Red Hot Chili Peppers performance, I was very drunk. The footage is online and no I'm not sharing it!

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc

    - Passing my GCSE Maths because I'm terrible at Maths :emoticon-0126-nerd:
    - It's no Everest but I've climbed Kilimanjaro
    - I've run a marathon and an ultramarathon

Do you know or have you met a famous person?

    - I met a guy who was flying around Hurst Spit with a jetpack a few months back, apparently hes semi famous. Richard Browing.
    - Have had some encounters with other more famous people when I worked at Goodwood festival of speed one time but wouldn't say I met them.

Have you been to a football ground outside of England (not Wales)? Which ones?

    No

Have you seen Saints play abroad?

    No, only Plymouth

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?

    No.

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?

I was born in 1989 but only the last month and a bit. Maybe the 70s.

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?

Its difficult to distinguish between having an amazing holiday and the country itself.

I think I liked Iceland the best.

    What is/was your occupation?

    Coastal Process Scientist

    Do you have a tattoo?

I have two. One on my right upper arm/shoulder. One on my left foot, that one hurt a lot more!

Anything else you would like to tell us that I've missed out? A funny story, something bad, sad or mad?

My Kilimanjaro adventure was fairly eventful. Flew from Gatwick to Qatar, then was told that I couldn't get on my connecting flight from Qatar to Kilimanjaro airport because they had overbooked the flight. I was supposed to be starting my trek up the mountain the next day. Long story short about 18 hours later I got a flight from Qatar to Dar es salaam, and then another from there to Kilimanjaro. I then got a taxi from the airport to the gate at the bottom of the mountain where you sign in and all that jazz. Met my group and started climbing. I struggled with altitude sickness throughout to the point that they should have technically stopped me from attempting the final ascent because my blood oxygen levels were already dangerously low, but I (maybe stupidy) said I wanted to continue. That final ascent we started around midnight after an early night... not that we really slept because it was freezing cold. That final ascent I remember very little of because I was so out of it. I made it to the top, had an adrenaline rush and felt okay for 10 minutes, then started trying to walk down and couldn't. My legs would just collapse under me and I fell over with every step I tried to take. I was just not with it at all as my body started to shut down from lack of oxygen. I had to be carried halfway down the mountain in a hurry! I only have vague memories of being dragged back down and then being force fed some soup and told to sleep it off now being at a less extreme altitude. I consider myself lucky to have gotten away with that one and with seemingly no long term effects.

Tell us your secrets, it won't go any further than the internet. You might not get the chance again.

I was in a relationship for 5 years with the girl of my dreams, and 7 years ago she broke up with me. I've never really gotten over her and I don't think I ever will. It also killed any drive I had to be in another relationship so expect I'll be single until I die, which probably sounds dramatic because I'm only 30, but it's been 7 years and I still don't want to go down that road again. :emoticon-0147-emo:

Do you have any claim to fame? Been on TV, in the paper or on Google Earth (@@St Badger ?) or an interview with the Telegraph (@@Le Tissier's Laces ), crimewatch etc.

Not really fame but was in the Echo for some indoor football tournament when I was about 6.

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc

Nothing really notable although I did raise over 50k for various charities by door to door fundraising. I was paid for it but only did it for a while not even earning 10% of that.

Do you know or have you met a famous person?

Wouldn't say I've 'met' any, had a few encounters but nobody too famous.

Have you been to a football ground outside of England (not Wales)? Which ones?

Only seen a match at the San Siro.

Have you seen Saints play abroad?

    See above :)

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?

I've broken both elbows, first one dislocated as well so needed surgery when I was year 3/4. Second one was on a trampoline. Not joking.

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?

90's kid. Would like to have been born early 70's, would have seen a brilliant Saints side and the rise of the rave culture.

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?

    Italy.

    What is/was your occupation?

I work for the NHS - non clinical.

    Do you have a tattoo?

No but want one related to my boy on my chest but can't settle on a design. Might end up never getting done.

Anything else you would like to tell us that I've missed out? A funny story, something bad, sad or mad?

When I was 15 me and three friends ripped up a fairly large portion of the ski slope at Soton sports centre because we thought we'd lost ecstasy tablets in it while riding down on for sale signs.

This went on for a good hour before one of said friends realised they were in his hoody pocket next to the swings by the boating lake. Was dreading a knock on the door for months. It never came.
