To be perfectly honest considering the times at the very least you can go and jump in the Mersey. No, wait, you can't, can you? <doh>

Bad news for Italy that the trend of 3 days of reduced cases didn't continue.

Only good news is it seems to have stabilised rather than keep increasing.

Deaths are still increasing though since they lag behind the number of cases due to the incubation and sickness periods.

It's shocking in Italy and Spain. I'm not surprised how bad it's getting in the US. Trump is so irresponsible saying what he said today, the complete eejit!

If Sunak says that the NI/tax of self-employed people will need to be revisted given they are also being helped like PAYE employees, then surely the same idea applies to companies in tax havens now asking the government for billions in bailouts.

Transpennine, in contrast to every other train company, is still asking its conductors and inspectors to go through the train selling and checking tickets. So if you're a key worker practicing social distancing on the train ( they are quite empty up here in the north) then look out - TPE will bring the virus to you free of charge. And the irony is? All train companies have just been commandeered by the government and been told to focus on distancing rather than minuscule revenue anyway.

That’s proper bell end behaviour. On a par with Derbyshire police and their current ****wittery.
