Methinks a couple of posters may have had a very boozy Saturday night and are just a little argumentative this morning.

Just a ps to my bio weapon post early, I posted something similar in the guardian and was getting lots of comment, then the mods? deleted it..or was it?

Not at all mate, just think this moronic, cretinous, selfish Brit thing has been been going on long enough.

As for posting a made up story to back up your argument <doh>

That’s because that kind of behaviour is the exact type of behaviour that has reared its head over here in last few weeks, which then contributes to more infected, which then contributes to more requiring hospital attention, which then contributes to more deaths.
If idiots like you decide that it’s ‘unreasonable’ to adhere to a lockdown if you’ve been allowed to travel to a country then is it any wonder that that exact ignorant behaviour has been seen on these shores?

In all honesty I can’t see why it warrants an argument.
Only a cretin would find it in his heart to argue on behalf of idiots deliberately flouting a curfew surely?

Well I am bored, the pleasant weather of a few days ago had disappeared and its very cold with flurries of hail/rain.

Exercise today may have to be on the rowing machine although a rotator cuff is playing up.

Grandchildren just watched the BFG...what we are going to this PM not a clue

I called them idiots, which they are.

As idiotic as Spain allowing tourist flights into an already infected country.

You also said it was unreasonable to ask them to stay locked down after being allowed to travel.
You’re clearly a complete fool. To then troll on a subject like this says a lot about you as a person.

"If idiots like you decide that it’s ‘unreasonable’ to adhere to a lockdown."

It's idiotic which I said at the time.

What's unreasonable, and irresponsible, is for Spain to allow tourists flights knowing their country had the virus, and also possibly the tourists.

This isn't trolling, no matter how many times you say it ...

... it's pointing out someone lying on the internet.

You made up a story to back up your idiotic agenda and spitting your dummy out because you have no proof to come back with.

You said it was unreasonable for Spain to put tourists on lockdown they had allowed to travel you little worm.
As I also explained there will have been people flouting the lockdown who had travelled prior to all of this really kicking off which isn’t the governments fault.
regardless of the Benidorm fiasco which as I thought at time would just be the aperitif a lot of Brits have shown themselves for the selfish, idiotic w@ankers they are through this period.

A footman to the queen has tested positive . So ALL the servants have been tested. Now I realise security levels will have to be maintained , but if her majesty says she’s with us on the isolating , can’t a lot of servants be stood down . Won’t harm her to not have a different outfit everyday , sure she can make herself and Phillip a sandwich or heat a tin of soup ?

That's a very good point that I can't argue with.

It's unreasonable to ask so many staff to risk infection but they won't dare lose favour by refusing.

I once worked with a butler, at the Russians, who was ex-Clarence House staff ...

... he had to go in a dozen times a day to fluff up the Queen Mum's cushions ;)

Love a good conspiricy me like but not convinced this is one. Firstly, I'm not totally trusting the info coming out of China about it. Mainly as they tried to initially supress it and now it's allegedly under control they have given the people of hubei province permission to leave. Problem is no other provinces are letting them in. Then they opened all their cinemas and promptly shut them down again two days later. There are also reports of thousands more urns than reported deaths for the ashes of the deceased being delivered. So if they do have an antidote they seem a bit slow on the up take actually getting it out to their people.

We had a SARS outbreak in 02-03 time and this virus is from that same corona family, hence it being named SARS-Cov-2. And another potential outbreak from the same area of China had been identified by WHO. "The disease appeared in November 2002 in the Guangdong province of southern China. This area is considered as a potential zone of re-emergence of SARS-CoV." https://www.who.int/ith/diseases/sars/en/

There was no call out of SARS or MERS being lab made so I'm not really sure why people have jumped on SARS-Cov-2 being lab made, apart from having someone to blame. After all, we have a history of this type of virus making the jump into human populations so I don't find it unthinkable that this is what has occurred here.
