The French have already threatened to unlawfully blockade Calais and Dover. If it had been the Dutch or Spanish I would have named them. Social unrest does seem the to be the French most popular weekend pastime!!!

Dominic Cummings has developed symptoms of coronavirus over the weekend and is now self-isolating. No 10 source says he remains 'in contact'.

If people in and around government are falling for the virus they haven't been taking their own advice. Don't do as I do, but do as I say will probably not appear as a slogan, as with ten words it is more than some can take in.

"Shake hands, get virus" might work? Although that's 4 words, 3 seems to work better apparently according to Cummings research.

    Brexit means Brexit
    Get Brexit Done
    Arbeit Macht Frei

    Etc...

The Government is finally prioritising Covid-19 testing for NHS staff, including social care, but it is completely unacceptable that weeks into this crisis there are colleagues in all settings - hospitals, community or care homes - who have not been provided with personal protective equipment.

I am hearing from nurses who are treating patients in Covid-19 wards without any protection at all. This cannot continue. They are putting themselves, their families and their patients at risk.”

    Royal College of Nursing

So who would go outside to applaud a government and Prime Minister that has allowed this to happen? I don't expect a reply from my MP when I email her to ask how she and the government she served in thought that they planned for a crisis such as this, despite the constant warnings that they were not prepared.

Have you asked the French government why they are suffering shortages of PPE equipment?

Is that all you could think of? You clearly haven't been reading about the air bridge that has been created between France and China. If you got your head out of the sand you would also be asking how this amazing government is failing the people it relies on.

The Chinese are now supplying most countries by air but France was clearly unprepared to cause the France police's equipment to be commandeered.

The truth is now seeping out of Wuhan that the real number of deaths was nearer 42,000 rather than the official figure of 3,000 put out by the communist state.

There was a France thread elsewhere, as you insist on criticism of any European country why nit take your Xenophobic posts over to that thread?

I am afraid that the more you try to divert the attention from the failure of the government to take notice of warnings, the more attention you bring to it. Seeing as you have a vested interest in it, I would have thought you would have seen the opportunity to increase your business interests. Let's face that is what a good party member would have been looking at.

Yes SH perhaps you can go back to work when you have stopped cooking for the homeless and get a production line going for your local council making masks..
Sitting in front of a screen all day trying to make one up comments can't be good for your health..

I have no business interests. The UK public is perfectly satisfied with its government's handling of the pandemic so far. There will be lessons for all nations once this is over.

Once again the Scottish Government appears to be light years ahead of England. They have announced that no patient in hospital will have to pay to watch TV. A simple measure, but if all visitors are banned it could help to relieve the boredom.
