I think whenever this happens, the most likely outcome is that the source simply doesn't know anything particularly specific either, but when asked, offers an opinion or is convinced (just like anyone) that a certain path is most likely. When they tell someone that opinion, the recipient puts more stall by the opinion/information than they would normally. When they pass it on, the source becomes impeccable, the info more valid etc. The reality in almost every business deal is that only those signing the documents known what is really happening.
There's a lot of speculation, much created by Methven, regarding the imminent sale of the club with mentions of Australians, etc. I have to say I have absolutely no idea if any of this is true, no knowledge whatsoever. That's not to say it's untrue.
Report from yesterday says "close to finalising a deal" I wonder if the one who left FPP (can't remember which one) is still interested in us?
I firmly believe that their interest revolves around promotion, and the lack of certainty ended it. Why Derby? There’s no real growth room at Derby. Good club and fans, but no fanaticism. They are surely looking at it purely financially as in ‘hit the PL’. That being the case might not be what we needed or wanted anyway.
Ahh, and he was the one who messaged your italian mate saying he had bought us. Wonder if him leaving was due to the other 2 not wanting to buy the club yet he's still interested. probably 2+2=5
Different companies. MSD will be looking for significant returns and it's "only a loan" as some would say over the road. FPP was set up seperately
