They won't have to give it back as it's awarded at the end of the season. A lot of clubs borrow against it though.
Didn't know that my bad but as Libby said alot of clubs borrow against it. Budget around it this will damage clubs all over Europe
I dont follow Spuds, at all tbf, but I was completely unaware that Daniel Levy was such a massive prick.
fair enough but I’m not being funny relative to earnings etc...these are paltry contributions I’m seeing from PL players across all the clubs.
Gareth Southgate has agreed to a 30% pay cut. Gareth Southgate has literally no work to do at the minute. He doesn’t even have to go for a run to stay fit for the start of the new season. I know he’s a nice guy but he’s not immune from criticism.
He certainly isn't immune to criticism. I gave him absolute **** after he missed that penalty against the German's in 96!
Any clubs using the furlough scheme and therefore saying they can’t afford to pay their staff what is in reality is a pittance of what else they chuck money on, should be transfer embargoed as if you can’t afford to pay a few people on average salaries for a few weeks, you’ve no right to piss millions up the wall in the window. Top level football is showing itself for what it is at the moment and it’s not surprising which clubs are leading this
If the Glazers And Woodward furlough our non-playing staff, of which we probably have more than most other clubs, that’ll be the final nail in their coffin. Like John says above, the bitterness when they start to fork out £60m on utter dogshit like Naby Keita, will go through the roof. At least we know Spurs and Newcastle have no money... Liverpool have absolutely no shame, horrible little club.
