After announcing a 400 million quid sponsorship deal Liverpool furlough their working class staff. Dirty ****ing bastards.
What's the situation with Sunderland right now mate? I had a feeling a large part of your finances were tied up in getting promoted to the championship asap. A long pause in the season with 0 income and maybe no promotion insight? Surely some nervousness
Congrats on getting up the waiting list - you taking your ex-wife along this time? Hopefully football is back to normal for next season so you can make proper use of it!
You know the country's ****ed when Rooney makes more sense than the health secretary. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52172196 Rooney questioned why "big stars from other sports, who are able to avoid tax by living in places like Monaco" are not being scrutinised over the financial support they are offering in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
But what about how Liverpool just announced a record sponsorship last week and then soon after furloughed their working class staff? Scummy ****s. I will laugh my cock off now if the season can’t complete and it remains 30+ years European giants? European scumbags who could learn from the likes of Barcelona and Juventus into how you conduct yourselves.
You declared a £42m net profit in your latest accounts. But can’t pay working class staff the minimum wage for a couple of months. Thi£ means more
Anyone bothered that Rees-Mogg's investment firm is boasting the crisis provides “once in a generation chance of super normal returns”. No? Just bothered about the footy clubs?
The thread is about clubs that have furloughed their staff. If you wanna talk about JRM then go make a thread about him. You should be disgusted by the actions of your club, but you're a typical bindipper who wants nothing more than the trophy at any cost. You're as bad as your vermin owners tbph.
I criticised LFC for the move. Disagree with people like you exaggerating it and using it as an excuse to vent existing hatred though.
no I will be taking my son - I asked Arsenal to change from ex wife to his name, and I will buy the season tickets, they said I couldn’t do that, it was me and her or none. Eventually they said okay and put me back at the bottom of the waiting list - customer service at its finest.
A club worth hundreds of millions, possibly billions uses Government money meant to help companies (experiencing financial difficulties) to keep staff on instead of making them redundant is repugnant. The only reason you are not as ****ish as my club's owners and chairman is cos you appear to be paying the additional 20%...but make no mistake ... for the 7th richest club in world football (who have just signed a record sponsorship deal) to behave in this way is ****ing reprehensible. It is as disgusting as JRM's firm profiteering from this situation...every premier league club owner who has used this scheme is a thundercunt of the highest order. Just my opinion but it's sickening behaviour.
Nothing is exaggerated, your club is a fraud. European Champions setting an example to be ashamed of.
so what you are saying is that liverpool are as scummy as jacob rees mogg and mike ashley.... fair enough
I have to admit, irrespective of the rivalry I didn't think Liverpool would do that. I'm sure some will say otherwise, but I thought they were a bit more down to earth and wouldn't screw the system and their own ppl for ££££. Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if Woody does the same at United. He's about as down to earth as a weather balloon.
So far we have said that all staff including occasional staff will be paid in full for all games cancelled then paid again when/if the games are played. I don't see them going back on this because it would be a PR nightmare and we are usually pretty good that way. I reckon most big clubs could just stop shareholders dividends during the period of closure and that would be enough to cover most none playing staffs wages. No profit being made then no dividend should be paid.
