    Sunday 15th March 4.30pm
    Premier League
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Another loss and another poor performance saw the end of any chance of silverware for another season.
All we have to play for now is European football qualification and that's looking increasingly unlikely.
Our next opponents are one of the main competitors for those places, so this result could be very important.
Utd's form has improved dramatically since their January signings and it's going to be a tough one.
Can Mourinho finally get one over on one of his old clubs or will the depressing form continue?

Solskjaer's first full season at the helm at Old Trafford has been rather erratic.
They've gradually dragged themselves up the table from their early season nadir of 14th place, though.
Europa and FA Cup progress has also been secured and their loss to City in the League Cup is acceptable.
The introduction of Ighalo and Fernandes in January has also boosted their chances.
They're unbeaten in the last five league games and are looking up the table in the run-in.

This fixture at Wembley last season saw a goalkeeping masterclass from David De Gea make the difference.
Both sides had a few chances in the first half, as Kane had one chalked off for offside early on.
Rashford put the visitors ahead just before the break and it lead to a second half seige of Utd's goal.
Good chances came and went, but the Spanish keeper could not be beaten, saving repeatedly.
Kane failed to take a number himself and the solitary goal was enough to take the points:

The visit to Old Trafford earlier in this campaign was a far worse performance with a similar result.
Gazzaniga let a soft, near-post effort by Rashford beat him early on and it set the tone for the game.
The home side rarely looked troubled in a poor first half, until Alli conjured an equaliser from nowhere.
A Sissoko brainfart just after the break gave Rashford a chance to regain the lead from the penalty spot.
He happily gobbled it up and we rarely looked like levelling things up again after that:

Kane, Son and Bergwijn are all still out for this one, while Sissoko, Sanchez and Davies may be available.
Grant and Rashford are out for the visitors, while Pogba, Martial and Fosu-Mensah are serious doubts.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Alderweireld, Dier; Tanganga, Ndombele, Skipp, Vertonghen; Lamela, Bergwijn; Alli.
Subs: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Winks, Fernandes, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Moura.
    League form: WWWLLD.

Man Utd: De Gea; Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Matic, Williams; Fernandes; Martial, James.
Subs: Romero, Tuanzebe, Bailly, McTominay, Mata, Greenwood, Ighalo.
    League form: LWWDW.

Ref: Michael ****ing Oliver. VAR: Paul Tierney.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Leipzig game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting United to go with?

    Whiteman
    Fagan-Walcott, Dave, Tanganga, Vertonghen
    Gedson, Skipp, Gio
    Markanday, Etete, Bennett

Hit Utd with the element of surprise by throwing in a number of the youth.

They really won't be any worse than who's been playing most weeks anyway.

    Will it get played though?

A lot can - and probably will- happen between now and 4.30pm on Sunday in view of the increasing number of Coronavirus links to football.......

    It won't go ahead.
Games will be suspended and when we restart we might have Kane and Son and G.O.A.T and Berghwijn and Davies back.
We then might just have a chance.

Here in Oz - the PM has announced all non-essential gatherings to be banned from Monday - that includes Football and both Rugby codes and even as i type Australia and NZ are playing a one day international with no spectators. The banning of spectators would be the initial move for the PL.
My boss - a Utd supporter said that on current form we wouldn't mind it being postponed.

Well ****, I’d honestly forgotten him lol. Etete having a great debut season though to be fair to him. Probably shouldn’t actually be overlooked. He’d probably suit Jose a bit more, 6’4 ish mobile target man is right up his street.

Various other Premier League clubs have done something similar. No brainer.

He's admitted this before, IIRC. ****ed up multiple decisions in that game and all the same way.
The penalty decision was ridiculous. The ball blatantly changed direction when Gomes palmed it. It wasn't subtle.

FFS you've just raised my blood pressure again, I was so angry about that. Didn't help that it was Carrick if I remember correctly. As infuriating as the Mendes "goal".

It could be its own thread, but not an enjoyable one
