I was a great believer in Boris at the start, but that was very vague last night. Getting a bit dismayed. One things for sure, the Government can’t afford to keep paying 80% of folks wages, something has got to give. the country is going to be financially knackered for a few years after this. Normality won’t return in the near future, that’s a fact.

Same here, a few of his defenders in my circle were disheartened last night ... .... looking decisive with clenched fists, while being vague, doesn't work for me. It was like, 'Well we'll give this a go, see what happens and go back to lockdown if too many of them die ... we can always blame them for not keeping their distance'. And theres an assumption that everyone has smartphones, at least one car, access to testing, etc. It seems the poorest people, without those things, are expected to go back to work on the bus and just take their chances.
I used to hate the bloke, probably still do, but he's asking the questions we all would ... ... if only these ministers knew the answers or could tell the truth. Surely they realise the public can see their total evasion.

Apparently the 2 week UK quarantine plans are exempt for passengers arriving from France - strange one that ! I can only think the reasoning for that would be because of the Dover/Calais transport services need to bring goods from Europe, unless there's a different variation of the virus in your neck of the woods that doesn't want to visit the UK
Just seen your post Gary It was on the news mate. Macron had included the UK in the European countries for which quarantine wouldn't be needed ... quite decent of him considering our death rate and poor testing. Johnson said UK visitors, arriving from France, would require 2 weeks quarantine but backed down when. Macron put the pressure on.
