I guess for consistency.. all the moaning ****ers having a go at NUFC should now start boycotting these part Saudi owned businesses?
Equinor, hey! Nice to see the Norwegian state selling off one of their largest assets to a foreign government.
Ironic that haters use their tweets to hate on the Saudis. The same tweets which exist on Saudi owned Twitter of course.
These aren't Saudi owned businesses. They are businesses in which the Saudis have a shareholding, often minority
They own 7% of Twitter. Biggest irony is their 23% shareholding of the Independent. Miguel Delaney, employed by Independent slagging them off on Twitter. The ****ing irony.
What's ironic ? A journalist not being influenced in expressing his opinion by business considerations ? That's a good thing, isn't it ? Or people using a platform overwhelmingly not owned by the Saudis ? I want this to haplen to but let's not get sucked into criticising people who say the truth: that it is blatant sportswashing for the benefit lf a disgusting regime.
Delaney's faux outrage is garbage. He has openly praised the Saudi's in the past when they were linked with Man Utd (the club he supports.) Because they are linked with us he suddenly preaches.
I don’t think most people on here are objecting to the criticism of the Saudi Arabian’s purchasing NUFC more a case of questioning the motives and beliefs of some of those objecting to the purchase.
The Saudis are utter bastards. Some of the videos of their public executions and 'punishments' are a disgrace. They are akin to what ISIS did. Horrible ideology.
They have a less than 1 per cent stake in several. They are one of the owners in the sense that any one who buys a share in a publicly traded company is one of the owners
