Ask on RTG, the majority won't even understand the question, but there are many, many that seem as though they could benefit!

    :emoticon-0105-wink:

Mind you, the thought of some of them knowing how to use their brains is frightening!

The words arrogant, conceited and vain spring to mind here. Truly incredible.

    Oh dear!

Was that a little too close to home for your comfort?

I was (obviously incorrectly) under the impression that the 'less bright' amongst us would welcome a way they could be seen as normal.

    But Hey Ho!

Some, must be happy to be amongst the dregs of society.

    My mistake!

Tbh most of the people on RTG are decent, I have loads of good mates on there ...

... it's simply that the Mods have lost their sense of reason, allowed the wums to run riot and ruined the forum.

I'm not, in any way, suggesting that they aren't, but I think it would be an easy task for either of us to name (at least) two dozen who are as thick as pig sh*t or are happy to give the impression that they are.

As Oscar Wilde once said in jest " I have nothing to declare but my genius", you appear to think along the same lines but are deadly serious. Why do you consider yourself to have a superior intellect to others, may I be so bold as to ask? Do you have some sort of IQ test to prove your genius in comparison to others or is it simply that you consider yourself to be of higher intelligence than others? Serious question.

Let me, please, turn your question on its head.

What do you believe gives you the right to question anyone about anything concerning their attitudes and/or beliefs then indulge yourself by making personal attacks based upon your imagined perceptions?

    Serious question!

Sounds like behaviour that would only be contemplated by an arrogant dickhead to me and I'm sure that you would never consider yourself as such.

I just happen to understand that a clock numbers 12 after 11 and there are 12 hours in AM and 12 hours in PM, whereas you don't appear to.

I appreciate that am & pm each comprise of 12 hours, each hour of 60 minutes and each minute of 60 seconds.

There is nothing else left to comprehend in order to fully understand when one finishes and the next starts.

Unless, of course, you have a different theory on the matter.

I believe that the vast majority of adults can differentiate a.m. and p.m. times, and can also spell whingeing correctly. Some, on the other hand, can't. I would not insult those people on their lack of intelligence though or call them "thickies".

Sort of. Whilst midday is often referred to as 12pm (though some also refer to it as am) and midnight often referred to as 12am (though some also refer to it as 12pm) neither really makes sense for midday and both make sense for midnight. Logically midday cannot be either 12am or 12pm and midnight could be either.

There is disagreement as to what to call them and conventionally midday is 12pm and midnight 12am, but I usually see people writing them the other way around to be honest and, for example, the USA stationary office swapped around which was which about 10-15 years ago on all their correspondence for no obvious reason. I'd say there's a reasonable amount left to comprehend.
