The lead singer of yellow dog was an American, Kenny ? who had played with a band called Fox, they had a girl lead singer called Noosha Fox hence the bands name,I only know about this because around 1975 I was involved in a project to get live music in a club in St Albans and Fox were one of the bands we managed to play , followed there careers for a while but they faded away , Noosha was a strange one dressed like your Nan with a massive mop of permed hair and sang in a high quivery voice , needless to say the club nights were a complete failure

Thanks for that Alfie - I know nothing about them other than I bought this single from the bargain bin of a shop in Canterbury, who only sold 'chart' singles so on a Tuesday when the new chart came out anything that had dropped out of the charts went in the 50p box on the counter. I Bought it on the off chance (as I did a few singles in early 79), and whilst it's not a great favourite anymore I do recall playing it to death at the time, though i did only have a about a dozen singles of my own then.

Classic mistakewhen drumming with bread, always go for the sourdough options, they can handle a parradiddle and rim shot

Pele is the only one I missed from your list DH and I can add Eusebio to that list, if he had left Benfica and joined one of the Big boys at the time who knows what he would have won, such a powerful player but a real sportsman

The 10 Prime-ministers in my life time
    Wilson
    Heath
    Callaghan
    Thatcher
    Major
    Blair
    Brown
    Cameron
    May
    Johnson

I don't really have a good word to say for any of them - I only voted for 1 of them (first 3 i was too young).

The current incumbent is the worst and how can it be possible for either Major or Cameron to make the top 5! Yet looking at this list they must!

Mrs B made me grow runner beans...I'm not a fan. The rest sound great.

Currently, I'm collecting pallets from around the neighbourhood to build some pallet corner unit benches at the end of the garden. They look a bit unsightly now but the fnished article will look like this...
