Ipswich deserve our final standing. But for Tranmere and some other teams, this is a decision taken without integrity by a majority of clubs serving themselves. I hope they take legal action against the league.

The rules on this should already have been in place and the delay in making a decision is shameful on the EFL.

I find it difficult to summon up any strong feelings about this either way.

I think you would have very strong feelings as a Posh or Tranmere fan. And if there is no integrity in the game then the game is pretty pointless. We may as well just have attackers diving for penalties.

Yorkie,I’ve avidly followed Town through thick and (increasing) thin for the best part of 50 years and I’ve never felt such a disconnect from the Club I love.

I think the season should have been played out as it's only fair. This is a financial decision not one around safety, and with all the money in football there should be more support from the higher leagues for league 1 & 2 to continue.

Very poor finish but if the season would have ended only a few weeks before we would have gone up automatically. Would be interesting to see if they would have done the final positions on clubs average position throughout the season.

Ironically whilst we were playing we have not been lower than 10th yet we've finished 11th

You and us SAFC have been done by the F A mate the 2 biggest clubs in this division, it's ok to finish the premier league season and championship but stuff the rest. there should have at least been a penalty shootout of 5 apiece if you win you got 3 points a draw a point and the score/goals counted as well, but the points per game and i still cannot work that one out either, total joke. They should have finished the season 2 months ago and promoted the top 3.

If many clubs voted because they can't afford to play games without the revenue from fans then when is the new season going to start? If clubs can't afford to play now will they have the funds to start a new season on time if there will be no fans present?

As a Sunderland fan who has attended games for over 60yrs, 30 of them as a season ticket holder, I share your sentiments. The latest debacle we are having about refunds and season tickets is just about, but not quite, the proverbial straw. Utter carnage up here

The ones who cannot afford to play games are playing games in the Play Offs.

These things matter a hell of a lot. And maintenance of the pitch.

Yes they do,but the most important thing is the quality of the football and until we put a concerted effort into improving that all the cosmetic tinkering in the world won’t help.

    No, not at all.

The reason we are where we are is not because of playing staff. We’ve always had and continue to have plenty of gifted footballers.

What we lost was class and attention to detail. All the little things that set us apart from the clubs around us. Taking care of the ground and having a shirt the players can be proud to pull on and puts a smile on fans faces will make a difference to how everybody feels on a match day. To buy a kit or not to buy a kit. Even the decision to go along to the match or not to bother and stay at home.
