You could also argue that there is precedent (of sorts) with Sheff Utd getting a payout after West Ham signed Tevez and Mascherano and stayed up at the blades expense.

Three seasons ago under Mourinho Manchester Utd finished second which I think was flattering. However, I feel that it is starting to come together at Utd under OS and if they manage to sign either the likes of Grealish or Sancho, I feel it will click at Old Trafford and they will become a force again. Next season should be more competitive and more interesting for the neutral. I quite like Klopp as a personality but I don't want to see Liverpool pick up the trophy again. Let it be a one off like with Leicester City and have Man City pip them as in 18/19.

In this day and age this was a bad error but Bournemouth have no case here.

The incident happened on 42 minutes and the whole pattern of play and players attitudes would have changed. Villa would have pressed for an equaliser and who knows, they may have gone on to win the game.

Seems odd that clubs are selling ST's as normal then as people are essentially loaning them money.

Lot of lower league clubs won't survive if it's a low percentage all season imo.

    Thanks for sharing.

Interesting we didnt run anywhere near as far as the others, we were close to the bottom, but close to the top for sprints.

Is that due to targeted trigger points, hence why our fitness was just awesome post lockdown.

It says we could start next season on fire, the players know the system far more now, it all seems to have clicked.

It's a little like the business book 'Good to Great'.

might not be too bad for lower league clubs, depending on ground capacity and normal gates. They may, and I stress May, be able to distance fans easier.

Yeah that did cross my mind after I posted tbf that it could depend on the club. Some rarely get above 50% anyway though even 500 lost fans is a bigger deal for a 3rd/4th division club.

I think Sunderland will cope fine. In fact, they'll barely notice any difference. <laugh>

I was thinking this also. I thought it may be more people will go, as they cant get into Prem games.

I know their ground is quite a bit bigger but think they average the same as/higher than us.

Coventry/Hull would be a better example.

Interesting article on the bbc re Saudi takeover at Newcastle.

The human rights issues are huge and despicable and the article goes on about Geordie fans making their view known, protesting and stuff.

I mean, that's just ****ing abusive to expect their fans to be able to write banners, let alone string coherent sentences about delicate rights of people across the world.

One Geordy I interviewed about this said "I just dont see what the issue is here, wot wiv not letting them lasses drive. I mean who's gonna take us back from the boozer, in time for me breakie".
