As Beddy said, welcome to the board Welwyn! Would that be Welwyn or Welwyn Garden City? I know people from your area don’t like the 2 confused!
Don’t really have any knowledge about any of that situation but I’m going to predict that it will end up in Messi staying and the Barca president resigning early. If not and he ends up at City, I bloody hope fans are back for our home game with them.
Everton, Leicester City, Southampton and Leeds United all sent scouts to watch Dundee United centre-back Lewis Neilson, 17. (Dundee Courier)
Possibly, he is 29 and has pace, I didnt think he was great the last couple of seasons, but certainly they're going for it. It's a sensible approach that goals keep you in the division if you have an ok defense.
They're desperate for a striker and are as good as relegated without one imo so I'd say a good signing.
Just can’t see this happening for us; other clubs haven’t got the baggage we have of quite a few dud transfer windows and is still needing to get rid of the deadwood before we can fund the move. Im sure there’s some pretty fundamental part of contract law, but wish we could just rip up the contracts of Forster, Hoedt, Vesty, Lemina just to let us all move on. Slash the asking price for Bouffal and just have done with it all and claim that Uncle Les was having a senior moment when they were signed. Even if we’re not in for WM as many suspect, it would free up much needed funds to add depth and quality.
Worth noting (as you suggest) that it is historically English, nevertheless: 'Gotten’ is, in fact, an English word that was in use in England at the time America was colonised by the English. It is found in the King James version of the Bible, and maybe even because of that, over the centuries, the Americans kept on using it and the English did not.' (https://www.sarahwoodbury.com/on-the-use-of-the-word-gotten/) If it's good enough for Shakespeare...!
I actually think this might be for the best. He’s not a great passer and our more high profile signings are more miss than hit.
I don't get this, They are desperate for cash and accept a €3Million loan with a option go buy him for only €18Million?? Sounds fishy.
This is the transfer rumours thread no one lets the truth get in the way of a good story. Fishy indeed, skate like in fact.
More upset at losing Harry Reed tbh Joining Fulham imminently for £8m, although Ralph wanted to keep him around.
