It beggars belief. The lad is playing international football, still young enough to be influenced in a coaching capacity and should be hungry to play.

It shouldn't beggar belief, MW brought in Wallace, Kelly and Ball from knowing them from Rangers. He has persuaded SLF definitely worth buying. Wallace plays although he's totally past it, Kelly is aweful but has to be 1st or 2and choice because MW brought him in, Ball is average but still better than GC but MW made GC captain so clearly thinks he is quality, so Ball sits on the bench. Ball could play in Amos role but clearly MW thinks Amos is awesome. Carroll was aweful the last time he put on hoops shirt and that was, and still is his level. Offering Dieng a new contract, but not even 2and choice is just totally bizarre. Lumley is one of the worst goalies I have ever seen. The only time he talks to his defence is to blame other players. Look at all the chances Grabban missed last week and all the goals this week, JL is glued to his line on every single chance. You watch any game at any level and no goalie is ever ever stuck like JL is it's a total embarrassment. Oh it has to be an out swinging corner where should I stand, oh I will glue myself to my line, its school stuff. Many have posted it's going to be a long season, and yes it is, if Grabban had brought his boots with him we would be 2nd bottom with a miserable goal difference. The only time MW has not actually been totally biased towards his signings is giving Kakay a run, but even MW must have realised how crap Kane is. God forgot about Kane the list of players MW has brought in who are very poor is shocking.
On a side note Manning is a midfielder who was converted to left back, play him left midfield please.
Please play Dieng or get a goalie in, please play Hamalainan at left back, please play Ball instead of Cameron, please play Chair behind Aussie, please do not play both Amos and Carroll. Please get another striker please tell BOS hes not Ronaldo

A striker, as if and when Dykes isnt available, we wont ****ing have one!
A midfielder who has it in his locker to pass the ball forwards, towards the opposition goal.
I would say a keeper but we haven't given Dieng a chance yet.
I would say a left back, we have an international who hasnt been given a chance yet.
If dieng isnt better than lumley then he must be garbage. If hamalien isnt better than wallace then he shouldn't be classed as a footballer.

 

Perhaps he didn’t play while the contract situation was up in the air. Everything I’ve heard of him outside of Rangers has been positive

The only thing I would slightly disagree with is Ball.
When Ball was given a run in the team after lockdown he actually played well. He fulfilled is role and scored the equaliser against Luton ...and would have scored the equaliser versus Coventry on Friday if Dykes was not in the way. We were singing his name as a future captain at the end of the season, and on the back of those performances he was given a new contract.
Not flashy or mesmerising. He is worth his place as our DCM and I would play him 100/100 times instead of Cameron.

So Ball is OK, I would have him in my team (like watching Shaun Derry!) The rest of what you say Yorkshire is spot on

True Col, but your second statement says it all.
I would not be even looking to replace Ball, he is worth an extended run in team....and I have no idea why he isn't starting

P.S. Thanks for the vote of confidence Col, but I have to say in his defence I think Cameron is probably a little better at winning defensive headers than I am, just!
