choose a non penalty taker and have them soft-pass the ball to the GK.

You make the point + do not eff up the stats for your usual penalty takers.

There may well be a lot of ex players on the advisory panel but it doesn’t follow that the administrators follow their advice. There are expert scientists in the SAGE panel , but look how little the politicians follow their recommendations.

 

You make more of a point kicking the ball the wrong way, by all means use a non penalty taker, except Sissoko of course. If he tried to miss he'd probably score.

 

Get rid of SAGE as well as VAR, both are past their sell by date.
