If ever there was a perfect example of the utter banality of the current rules it's this. Wealdstone can have fans in their bar watching their match on TV but the windows of the bar have to be blacked out so they can't actually see the pitch. Where do you think would be safer? Spaced out on the terrace or all in the bar? It's utter bollox...

The Government are very poor and getting worse by the day, but I still believe they are in a **** position of trying to square a circle with this thing.
The guidelines are confusing precisely because the Government are trying to lock us down without completely ****ing the economy. An impossible task to get right, but ****ing selfish morons who can't show a little self discipline to help out their communities and the country are Just as much to blame for this 2nd wave.......

I've never liked Boris, but he does seem to be a shadow of his former self.

I reckon he'll be gone as soon as we have left the EU with or without a deal.

 

Very likely, in my opinion. He's been an abject failure and seems to be hating the job. The Tories will want him out and citing ill health gives him a way out without being sacked.

 

And yet another edict that will be joyously ignored, probably they'll all be singing and dancing outside at 10.00pm...

Is it just me, or do others have not much sympathy with these Uni students crying that they can't socialise and their experience is being ruined...

Last time I looked, Uni was about gaining a qualification.
