    I remember his assist, he nodded a ball down for Gabbiadini to slot home. We all thought it was the beginning, but sadly not.

    I don't think we should be too harsh on Carillo. He was given an opportunity and took it. It is not his fault he was not good enough. The fault is with those who decided he was what was needed. He has been good professional who was misled by those in charge when he arrived.

    Good luck to him and I hope he has a good career at Elche.

    To be fair he might have worked at a club like Burnley where they get balls in the box. He isn’t necessarily a cr4p player, but it didn’t take a genius to know he didn’t suit our style of play. Good luck to him. He didn’t get catty like Hoedt and seemed a good bloke

    Leganes' style was built around hoofing aerial balls at his head. He scored sparingly, Pellegrino got fired and eventually he fell out of favour entirely. He's just not remotely close to good enough for this level.

    Interesting, although it does imply that we didn’t get enough for Pierre. I think the truth is that we only got KWP at a bargain price because we let Spurs have Højbjerg cheap. Hopefully Salisu and Diallo prove to be bargains too.
