    Sunday 18th October 4.30pm
    Premier League
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The international break is over and we're back to the Premier League with another match against a United.
We signed off with a fantastic result against one, following a rather disappointing ending against another.
It's another week of Europa League football, so the league has naturally helped us out with a late match.
They've followed that with a Monday game next time, rather typically.
Can Mourinho pick up where he left off or will another ex-Man Utd man thwart him?

West Ham had a pretty poor campaign last time out, but it was saved by their post-lockdown form a little.
Manuel Pellegrini managed 3 wins, 3 draws and a solitary loss in his first seven games, before it all went wrong.
He could only scrape two wins and a draw from their next twelve and was sacked just after Christmas.
The reappointment of David Moyes surprised many and the locals were not impressed.
Dipping down into the relegation zone impressed them even less, but they recovered and stayed up.

Expectations for this season were not high and the lack of transfer business added to it.
Two Slavia Prague players and one from Wimbledon led to accusations of a lack of ambition.
Mark Noble's public reaction to Grady Diangana's sale to West Brom added to them.
A late move for Said Benrahma from Brentford may placate some, as will their decent start.
Opening losses to Newcastle and Arsenal were followed by impressive wins over Wolves and Leicester.

The match at our place last season was rather uninspiring, as both sides were clearly lacking fitness.
It was the second game after the lockdown break and it showed, as neither side created much.
Son's disallowed goal was the highlight of the first half and it was goalless at the break.
A Soucek own goal gave us the lead and inspired a little fight from the visitors, but an equaliser evaded them.
Kane broke away to make it 2-0 with about ten minutes to go and killed the contest:

The game at their place was Mourinho's first in charge at Spurs and it went well, for the most part.
Son and Moura put us two up at the break, before Kane added a third just after it and seemed to end it.
Ben Davies injured himself making a tackle with twenty minutes to go though, which led to a nervy finish.
Antonio fired one in just afterward before he could be replaced, then Rice had one disallowed.
An Ogbonna goal deep in injury time was in vain, as we held out to take the points:

No injury news yet, but Dier will be a doubt.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Ndombele; Lamela, Kane, Son.
Subs: Hart, Doherty, Alderweireld, Davies, Winks, Alli, Moura.

West Ham: Fabianski; Coufal, Cresswell, Ogbonna, Balbuena, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Antonio, Fornals.
Subs: Randolph, Johnson, Noble, Yarmolenko, Lanzini, Anderson, Haller.

Ref: Paul Tierney. VAR: Peter Bankes.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and what would you change from the Man Utd game?
Would you stick with much of the same lineup, make a few changes or go for a wholesale switch?
Which system and tactics would you use and what are you expecting West Ham to go with?

Same team as Utd for me though Toby for Dier seeing as he’s likely out.

Bergwijn, Bale and Vinicius replacing Winks, Dele and Toby’s spot on the bench.

Little dig at Southgate and Doherty scoring at basketball with his feet.

The lineup that played versus Man U. deserves to start this one, or as close to it as possible. I'd be a lot more comfortable if Bale came on in his first game at the 70th minute mark, regardless of the score.

I suggest Jose watches the 2019 fixture and the Spanners
game against Lesta to see how they are likely to set up.

Any minutes that can be given to Bale : do so.
Cos he luuuurves playing against the Spanners.

Journo: "Arsene Wenger's got a book out and you don't seem to get a mention. I was wondering if you know why?"
Mourinho: “Because he never beat me.
You are not going to do a chapter about 12 or 14 matches and never win one, so why should he speak about me in his book?
A book is to make you happy, to make you proud, so I understand perfectly the situation.”
    <laugh>

Takes a dig at Guardiola, too.

Lo Celso and Tanganga out, Dier might be available, but probably not.

This wasn't even true <doh>. Typical of Jose to have amnesia when it suits him though. I guess Conte wasn't wrong about him...

To be fair Wenger missed whole segments of games as he fought with faulty zips, defective glasses and itinerant water bottles.

At some point this season teams are going to have to work out how to double up on Kane, Son and Bale at the same time

By complete coincidence, that'll be when Dele starts scoring regularly...

So a win would take us to at least third, possibly second...

West Ham always turn up for their cup final, Antonio always scores against us, I seldom enjoy these matches and if they play as they have in their last 3 they will be difficult opponents. Hoping that we turn up and match their intensity and that allows our superior quality to come to the fore.

As for the team no Dier means that Toby comes in other than that I don't see why we would change a team that won 1-6 last time. Bale from the bench and tricky to pick the subs now.

Yeah Jose’s definitely got a nice headache on his hands now.

Roughly two good players are likely to miss out on the squad and they’ll stem from the attacking positions seeing as we’re so loaded there.

I think it’ll be Dele and Bergwijn. The latter I think it’ll be rough on as I was really impressed with him when he joined but seemingly lost his place quite harshly to Lucas and hasn’t been able to get it back.

If we stick with the same XI today with the exception of Toby for Dier, I think the bench will be:

Hart, Doherty, Davies, Winks (<wah>), Lucas, Bale, Vinicius.

Ain't you allowed 8 subs to be named?
