I think Berwick should join the EFL and the Welsh clubs should join the Welsh leagues. Why is it called the EFL (English Football League)

Have you seen them play? They'd be flat out gaining entry to the Northumberland Football League.

On the basis that the Welsh clubs joined The Football league, and that both Cardiff and Swansea have been virtually members during the whole time of OUR clubs existence, I don't see why the fact that for commercial reasons (and not to highlight the fact that its a league for English clubs), the Football League changed its name to the English Football League 5 years ago, should make any difference.

Given that the FA/FL have accepted FC Isle of Man into the North West counties league (this was won by Fleetwood Town 15 years ago), then its also quite possible in the future that we will have a club playing on the professional leagues, that doesn't come from either England or Wales, and that doesn't bother me either.

Why not? The EFL is overflowing with foreign players any way. Who would notice? :emoticon-0173-middl

Not to mention that Guernsey FC have been playing in England for the last decade. Currently in the Isthmian League, they have also been in the FA Cup, the FA Trophy and the FA Vase.

If Swansea and Cardiff were playing in the Welsh Leagues they MIGHT actually win something, a bit like Celtic and Rangers in the Scottish Premier League

Swansea have won more honours in the last decade than Watford have in their history, mate.

Taking into account that the Welsh are indigenous to the UK, and the English are illegal immigrants, the real question is " Should the English be allowed to play in British Leagues ? " They can just pop back across the Channel, and ply their trade there. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Do you have any proof about the Taff's, I mean we all came from Adam and eve in the middle east, All came from Africa or evolved from Monkeys, none of which happened in Wales as far as I know. :emoticon-0139-bow:and we don't play in British leagues, we play in English leagues.

The information is out there should you see fit to seek it out.
British Leagues, English Leagues, makes no difference, the English are still illegal immigrants to what is generally known as The British Isles.
Consequently, in line with the original idiotic question, the English should go back whence they came, and play in European Leagues, and good bloody riddance. <laugh>
