    Apparently the club asked Hojbjerg - as a final favour - to fly the aeroplane that Salisu would be coming over in. Hojbjerg gladly accepted, but whilst trying to land the plane on the runway at Southampton Airport, he in fact ended up bringing it down somewhere on Titan Mimus, one of the moons of Saturn.

    In addition to signing Broja, re-signing Salisu is top on the list of priorities. He has 2.5 years remaining...now's the time to pay the man.

    Agreed. He will already have top clubs looking at him, but he’s probably another season of PL development from them being ‘seriously’ after him.

    We need to safeguard his fee by extending now, as I can’t see us keeping him beyond next summer if he has another season like this.

    Extend this year by offering assurances that we’ll sell him in 2023, providing we get a good fee. It’s probably the best we can hope for as he is going to the top.

    **** that! I mean if it is the only way then do it, but he hasn't been good enough for long enough to be thinking about moving on.

    Get him on a nice long deal, no release clause or gaurantee's and then refuse to sell unless we get offered ridiculous money like VVD.
