The Champion Hurdle is on a plate for Envoi Allen and they are trying to turn him into a Gold Cup horse, he wont win a Gold Cup in a million years.
Yep was about to say that wasn't Mark Walsh's finest ever ride. I doubt Nicky Henderson will be losing much sleep over that lot.
Many connections seem to think chasing is the be-all and end-all. Altior and Douvan could both have been Champion Hurdlers. At least they reverted back to hurdles with Buveur D'Air.
Just for a bit of interest in the Greatwood (15:00) Cormier e/w. A very open affair in this ground? Trainer won this a couple of years ago.
She is as game as they come that mare - superb stuff. DDG went potentially too fast to see it out and DDS was found out by a fast pace over 2 miles round Cheltenham - well out of his comfort zone
Quite fancy Cormier in the Greatwood, dont think theyve got to the bottom of him in a couple of hurdle races, been really strong at the finish, low weight, trainer and jockey won it a couple of years ago.
look at the state of the winners career, 2 wins in 22, beaten a combined thousand lengths jump racing
Bloody hell Cloudy Glen looked like he could go around again. Might be one for Aintree? Won that off 134 so maybe up to 140-145 going forward, could sneak in at the bottom of the weights. Could be dangerous with juice in the ground.
Let's see if For Pleasure does any better back left-handed - unsteerable at Kempton last time out. Not sure he'll like the ground though.
So far - 6 favs = 6 losers ... doesn't argur well for Third Time Lucki next up! I can get anything beat
