You are expert here Diego, after all Giggs always recovered for the next United match having been unfit for Wales
Man City have complained to Sky Sports after Roy Keane called Kyle Walker an idiot. Not sure what they complaint is, after he gave away a stupid penalty. Not harsh enough, perhaps?
It's severely edited down from what I originally called the daft Slovenian ****wit who can't tell his armpit from his elbow
The BT commentator's are ****ing useless. They're all looking at Chilwell's arms for the OG, but he clearly kicks Fernandez. Studs the back of his ankle before he's touched the ball. McMananananananananananaman has to be there though, of course. Lots of links to Newcastle and Chelsea.
Could be worse, at least they're bothering to learn players' names ...unlike ESPN, who repeatedly said "The Spurs keeper" whenever our World Cup winning captain Hugo Lloris received the ball during the West Brom game
"Grealish has four goals and five assists this season. Only two players have more contributions this season, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son." He gets fouled so many times, it's just ridiculous. England should pick him and Ward-Prowse together. Loads of set-pieces and someone that can consistently deliver from them.
I think it's completely inconsistent. Trezeguet went down easily, but he still gets kicked and has the ball. Another ref would give a totally different decision in the same position.
You're right that other refs would give a different decision because in real time it's fairly easy to make a mistake, so the doubt should be sufficient to mean no penalty is awarded. Far too many penalties and far too many are bought.
Is it a clear and obvious error, though? He gets the ball, then gets the man while he still has possession of it. Peter Walton's saying that it shouldn't have been referred back to Oliver by the VAR mob. He may have a point. VAR was supposed to remove these sort of grey areas and it's only added to them. That's down to the officials though, in my opinion.
A retaken penalty after West Brom had one overturned at the other end a minute beforehand. Why isn't that a penalty?
