Jose said he sees Tanganga as a fullback first, a multifunctional defender but a fullback first. He’s certainly shown his versatility but I would’ve thought CB was his primary role. Interesting, although if that is the case, I think we need to loan him out in January because being third choice there at the moment won’t do him any good and it’ll reek of KWP part two.
I think it’ll be much the same team on the weekend vs Chelsea as started against City, with the exception of Toby. I wonder if it’ll be Rodon or Davies instead of him? I imagine it won’t be Dave. As such, for the EL game, I’m expecting: Hart Doherty Dave Tanganga Davies Gio Winks Dele Lucas Vicinius Bale With a very strong bench of the usual suspects. I’m not sure we’ll see too many youngsters as we have a lot of senior players who need game time and if we win this match then we’re in a strong position in the group.
Good as sold I think. They’ve got a purchase option and Foyth’s post on Instagram when he left gave the impression he wouldn’t be coming back
The squad has failed Jose in the EL group stage, in terms of not putting games out of reach by 60 mins, thus allowing some of the kids to get 30 min sub run-outs etc. I doubt that Spurs will be confirmed top of the group after round 5, which means there is not even a "dead rubber" game for the kids. So unless there is an injury plague between now and FA cup R3, the club will have to get the likes of White the best half-season loans possible.
Wow...Dele starts! Cmon Dele...do an N'dombele and turn your spurs career around via a decent EL game.
All change apart from Ndombele and no Lo Celso in the squad? Strange. Very lightweight looking midfield. Hopefully Ludogorets won't be anywhere near full strength and this'll be a good runout for the squad players.
It’s fully deserved too, whether he gets on the pitch or not, it’s good to see his form being rewarded with a call up to the first team. Smashing it at youth level at the moment.
