IIRC he was quizzed on why he was wearing odd boots a while back and said he had a problem with one of his feet and was waiting on some custom ones to help him play through it. Presumably it’s some sort of impact thing and he wanted more cushioning. Looks like he needs a bit of time off though despite that.

Not sure I’ve seen many players who’ve had more rotten luck with injuries.

Spurs-adjacent Physio Watch: Juan Foyth picked up a muscle injury, hence his absence for Villarreal's last couple of games

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho starts by giving us some injury news on defender Toby Alderweireld.

"Toby has a muscular injury but it is not as big as we initially thought," said Mourinho.

"We will have his time to be out but not like a month, which was immediately what we thought.

"I would say between two and four weeks [out] but he will not be playing tomorrow. He was playing his best football and we will miss him but we fight with what we have."

Time for another one of Poch’s babies to show what he is made of

Sanchez doesn’t want to end up on the scrap heap like Winks, Dele

    this is your time(if selected)

Good news about Toby, thought it would be much longer

Looks like when Tanganga fell on his shoulder against Antwerp it done more damage than first feared, out for another 2-3 weeks. Guy can't catch a break so far this season.

Can't say that I'm surprised. He looked to be in a lot of pain and I thought that he overstretched it or tore something.

I keep thinking back to the days of Cecil Poynton when he would run on to the pitch to treat injuries witha bucket, spunge and cold water and tell them to get up!
Today some of our players receive a fatal knock, roll over 20 times and stop breathing!!!!!!!?

And then get up, limp for a bit and carry on like nothing's happened......unless they're late for their hairdressers appointment.
