shame he never had Kimpy to work with as jurassic never played him, or Watmore another who we need right now, and how long will this take over take for christ's sake. We may finish above the mighty Accrington stanley this season.

I've never felt as low watching Sunderland as I did yesterday. And that includes being one of about 10 fans left in the away end at ft when the Mags beat us 5-1 or when the ft whistle went confirming our relegation to League One.

I think we've got no option but to have the utmost patience with Johnson. This season could already be a right off thanks to Donald and Parkinson.

I don’t think you can’t really say that a put money. Sure he was offered a contract at Blackburn so it’s not about the money! The rest of your post is true though!!

Don’t understand how he motivates players in fairness. Talks a good game but doesn’t exactly come off as someone who can get the players fired up. Parkinson in.

Big Sam saying he thought Parky was doing a fine job FFS, managers don't like to criticize other managers.

Agree with everything you say, lets hope that the new appointments bring the fans and club a bit closer, the last regime seemed to alienate everybody, I hope Taylor is the next to go and he takes Graham with him. For Tuesdays game rest the likes of Maguire, Power and Flanagan and bring Diamond Niel Curry McFadzean and Sanderson into the starting line up and if they do OK keep them in. Now is the time to give the younger players a real chance to show what they can bring to the table, and not keep sweeping them under it Parky fashion. OaU

Yesterday was so deflating. I couldn't bring myself to even go online until now such was my anger/disappointment. Why was I even surprised? Year after year we seem to watch a bunch of gutless turds saunter around the football pitch as if they have some God-given right to be there.

I just hope that Lee Johnson can find some way to turn this shower into a team capable of winning games. If we can keep up the urgency and press we saw in the 1st 15 mins then we have a chance, but (and I think we've been saying this for a while) we have a really mental fragility in this squad - the Head Coach says the dressing room was quiet before the game. Where the **** are these so-called "senior pros" and "leaders"? Why aren't the likes of Leadbitter, Power, Wright and McGeady getting the lads going? Make some noise and gee people up?

I hope the Head Coach's in-game management improves in the coming weeks - even a blind pig could see that Scowen was having a 'mare with his set-pieces but no changes were made and he was allowed to keep hitting the first man.

As soon as Wigan scored I knew that was game over. We are a real soft touch right now. Huff and puff, all fart and nee ****e as they say.

Usually I'm labelled a Happy Clapper over the road, but today feels like it's going to be a long old winter.............

I hope so. I have this horrible. nagging feeling that Johnson is going to end up like Grayson or Wilkinson - sacked after a handful of games because it's gone so badly

If I was in charge, I'd play most of the U23s against Oldham to see what options are available (Patterson, Taylor, Sanderson, Almond, Neil, Hawkes, Dobson, Steels, Diamond, Embleton, Curry).

Same here - just logged on now.

Been a long time since I let our results affect me. 44 years old, 2 kids etc and bigger things to worry about but something just snapped yesterday. All that build up, all that expectation and then Sunderland being entirely predictable
