We have had a few of those - make a wrong decision and Vardy through on goal. Inevitable happens. Won’t say we were the better team, we turned the ball over cheaply, but when you go deep into a game like that and if you can’t win, you don’t lose. If someone smashes it into the top corner from 25 yards you accept it - the manner of the goal is really poor. How do you handle that? I’ve just left it in the dressing room. Any positives? Thought we were better second half and getting back on level terms. Pleased with Oli, thought he was outstanding, some good little bits but you have to get something from that game. Cruel game? Got the arse ache with people talking about fine lines we are a losing team right now and if we make the right decisions we get something from the game.
It's hilarious, so so hilarious, esp living in Sheffield and playing with a few Blades fans during the week. People calling his job into question tho need to wobble their heads, he's got a lot of credit in the bank having taken them from L1 to a top half Prem finish in 4 years.
Watched the game last night. Rashford's first goal was a thing of wonder, long ball hoofed down the pitch, Rashford takes it down, turns and shoots all in the same movement. Why can't Tom Eaves do that?
He was only given a debut when all other options were used up, a star sitting in the youth squad who they got for nothing while spending gazzillions on known superstars. Why do we wrap our kids in cotton wool while in Germany and Holland they just let their 17 and 18 year olds play?
