I don't buy until the team is announced <laugh><laugh>
I don't think you could actually buy the Accrington stream in advance - the link didn't work for me anyway, it just showed a blank video screen.

Nah, I'll wait until about 2pm tomorrow I think. If it's anything like the season ticket refund it will be a right chew on.

Good to hear that all the lads have recovered from their bout of covid though. Johnson hinted at 1 squad member being effected a little worse and may miss out tomorrow. I have a feeling that it will be a keeper. Fingers crossed that it goes ahead and we spank them

    Team News
Lee Johnson has confirmed he now has the majority of his squad to select from, after 14 first-team players had tested positive for Covid-19 before Christmas. The Head Coach has added that one player remains doubtful following the outbreak.
Johnson has said that whilst Luke O’Nien (shoulder), Denver Hume (hamstring) and Josh Scowen (shin) remain ruled out for the weekend, the trio could be in line to return in around two to three weeks if their encouraging progress continues.

Aye, in the presser he said something like 'it will be clear who is struggling when you see the team' which made me think it's a keeper.

Without wanting to be insensitive and mentioning names I reckon it's Burge but I think he will play Pattison if it is.

I’d like to think we’d have too much for Northampton but you don’t know what sort of shape the players are going to be in after the past couple of weeks. Still I’m going to be optimistic and say 0-2.

not usually prone to hyperbole but this game feels massive. Games in hand are grand but Northampton are a team that should be beaten to gain promotion and after such a break to stutter to a draw or loss would feel like a punch in the gut. There's a lot of goodwill and hope around at the moment, need to try and build some momentum.

4-1. Reckon it'll be comfortable and I'm never normally that optimistic.

Its time gor us to teally get going, hopefully although academy was closed for a time Johnson has been able to work with the players on exactly what he wants, a reply of the Lincoln performance would be very welcome.

I know hes not officially through the door yet, but KLD (fingers crossed nowt goes wrong) is as good as arrived....THE START OF A NEW BEGINNING I cannot wait & although we cant be there....you can almost feel the tide turning & the energy around us

I've got a feeling Wright is the player that's not going to make it for today.

No matter what our team is I can't contemplate anything but a Sunderland win. Whether they're hoping to be retained or playing for a move they'll need to be right up for it.

The players know there's a transfer window here and that this a major new era opening up.

I'm going for a Sunderland win, whoever plays.

Thats my fear as well. Could do with him as well as they play a very direct style therefore will be an aerial bombardment which is right up his street.
