Yeah, entitled to my opinion of course. It really frustrates me that we could beat the best teams out there if we were as clinical at finishing as they are!

 

FFS! You'd think we're about to get relegated. It's our first season back in the prem, we're playing a possible top 4 side and we've got injuries to our supposedly better defenders. Yes the mistakes are really ****ing annoying and at this level cost us badly but it's going to take time to sort out.

I do. I posted before about who do people want to replace Bamford. It doesn't just happen. Buying any striker is a risk, they are very expensive and need to want to come to Leeds.

 

This second half has been a big yawn

 

The thing is I don’t mind those having a moan but if Cooper isn’t playing it’s Bamford’s fault. Today, if it wasn’t for Phillips and Meslier we’d be at 0-0 but let’s just have a go at Bamford for not scoring a few half chances For a newly promoted side with a makeshift defence we’ve done well today and could’ve had a few goals. A few silly mistakes from inexperienced players has cost us and we need to work on those situations more and we’ll get better. Yes it’s be nice to have a Kane and Son but it takes time to get players of that sort of level.

 

French No1 keeper having nothing to do. French U21 keeper now made 2 mistakes and cost 2 goals. Love Meslier but unfortunately we only have maybe 3 players who Would get into the Spurs team. Its fine margins and we should have been winning at half time or drawing at least.

We are going to be safe and next season we will have added more quality. Spurs will be top 6 at worst but could be CL side

Well i missed all the goals, but seen the last twenty minutes or so, so far i have been impressed, certainly not run off the park and giving a good account of ourselves. not bad at all, just crap defending letting us down by the sounds of it.

 

Think Tottenham look poor, but they got to strikers that creat and score goals

 

They have the depth to bring on Sissoko and Lucas.
Kane and Son are worth more than our team on their own.
We're missing 2 international defenders.
Our keeper is 20 and is keeping the clown out.
We need to take a deep breath and move on. The important games are against Brighton, Southampton and Newcastle.

Sorry i must have misunderstood, you said people who were saying we need a striker and goalkeeper don't consider the cost or if they would want to come to leeds, then you yourself say we need a striker and a goalkeeper

 

I haven't said we need either. I'm a realist. We're not competing with Spurs. Against the teams we need to beat we do ok so it's ok.
To compete with Spurs we need to spend like Chelsea have and even then there's no guarantee.

 

Well it ended as i guessed,when you have finishers like Son & Kane you don't need to play particularly well to get a result.
But i got to say well done to the team,although we lost, they gave a good account of ourselves, now i am more sure than ever that we will be ok this season.
