Great thread as usual RTG and thanks once again for all your splendid efforts.<applause>
Its a Big Game this one, but as we probably need to win it more than them, it wont be easy, but the Tigers are there to be shot down, have we got the fire power that is the question, we shall see. OaU

It's not until you look at other club's match threads that you realise how blessed we are, the Newcastle effort is a joke that they pretend is ironic ...

... if only the team can reach this standard <laugh>

Just got a massive feeling we are gonna play awful again and get beat.

LJ needs to find a formula soon, or he could be out the door quicker than he arrived.

    1-3 is my prediction.
    Hope I’m very wrong.

    Leicester
    Wolves
    Leeds
    Sheffield United.
    Manchester City

All been League One in recent enough memory.

We are down but we are never out and I’m with Smug, I’m gonna assume our recovery is fully underway.

I'll go for a rip roaring 2-2 draw. Mcgeady and Wright for us.

I'm already really excited about this match ...

... just watch it be called off because of a blizzard <doh>

The good news is that SAFSEE will be available to foreign exiles.

Grant McCann confirmed to the press earlier today that Jordy de Wijs and Martin Samuelsen will miss Saturday’s trip to Sunderland, while Keane Lewis-Potter will be assessed.

de Wijs and Samuelsen picked up calf injuries in training, whilst Lewis-Potter suffered a small hamstring issue during the victory over Charlton Athletic, but will be monitored ahead of the game. Callum Jones remains absent as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

McCann also confirmed that all five players who contracted Covid-19 have returned to training, but Saturday’s trip to Sunderland may come too soon for those who are still recovering from symptoms.

“The lads who contracted the virus - we had five in total - are all getting better,” said McCann. “They’re all improving daily, some maybe more than others as you can expect in terms of having symptoms. They’ve all trained this week and we’re hoping to have the majority of them available for selection on Saturday - how long they’ll be able to play, I don’t know, but they’ll all be available.

“On the injury front, we’ll be without Jordy de Wijs and Martin Samuelsen, who have both got calf strains. Keane Lewis-Potter has picked up a little problem with a tendon in his hamstring and hasn’t trained this week so he’s touch-and-go, but we’ll give him every opportunity to be available for the weekend.

“Callum Jones isn’t too far away now.”

    Great OP... thanks

    Interesting to see on Sky...

Meanwhile whingy Bruce wants to stop football for (cos he keeps losing) whereas Warnock says this area needs football a its part of their lifeblood when life is tough.
