Love the 3 points especially with Bournemouth losing. But draw away and win at home and should be there or there about a so point wouldn’t be the end of the world
So our capital city are continuing their losing run.....we are 7 points behind the Canaries....we can go 4 points ahead of Bournemouth with a win at Barnsley tonight....that would be nice
Cardiff lose, also had a man sent off. ....... Newport only draw, and they had a man sent off........let us hope we keep 11players on the field tonight, and bloody win, ...... at least don't lose.
Steve Cooper makes just one change from Swansea City's win over Watford for their latest Championship assignment at Barnsley. Kyle Naughton - having returned from a side strain against Stevenage in the FA Cup - starts a league game for the first time since the defeat at Derby before Christmas. He comes in at the expense of Ryan Manning in the only change to the side that started that victory over the Hornets. New signing Ben Hamer is named among the substitutes following his move from Huddersfield. Freddie Woodman starts in goal, with Naughton joining Marc Guehi and Ben Cabango in the Swans back three. Connor Roberts and Jake Bidwell take the wing-back roles, while Korey Smith, captain Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton will once again form the midfield unit. In-form forwards Jamal Lowe and Andre Ayew are partnered together in attack, while Joel Latibeaudiere is fit enough for a place on the bench after recovering from a calf injury. Barnsley: Jack Walton, Callum Styles, Mads Andersen, Callum Brittain, Herbie Kane, Cauley Woodrow, Conor Chaplin, Michael Sollbauer, Alex Mowatt (captain), Victor Adeboyejo, Michal Helik. Substitutes: Carlton Morris, Luke Thomas, Patrick Schmidt, Tom Sibbick, Romal Palmer, Clarke Oduor, Dominik Frieser, Jasper Moon, Ben Collins. Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Kyle Naughton, Ben Cabango, Marc Guehi; Connor Roberts, Korey Smith, Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain), Jake Bidwell; Jamal Lowe, Andre Ayew. Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Ryan Manning, Wayne Routledge, Liam Cullen, Yan Dhanda, Joel Latibeaudiere, George Byers, Oli Cooper, Jordon Garrick. Referee: Jeremy Simpson
if Garrick can have a few more run outs and Yan picks his game up then going forward i'd say we're not in a bad position but losing imo palmer and MGW was a big loss .
Cabango's biggest issue is that he actually looks like he's from Cardiff. Look at those eyebrows and eyes - Cardiff to the core. I can hear the accent just by looking at him. "ow brah, where ewe to ?"
