I really don’t. The guy is doing what’s best for him and I can’t blame for either moving for money or moving to an infinitely bigger club which will further his career.

And he gave us some good times as a cheap signing on moderate wages.

I don't blame him for the move, it's the way the move has been carried out that pisses me off. Admittedly we don't know what's gone on behind the scenes, but everything to date shows him and Fenerbache in a bad light, and the fact that the club are planning not to pick him, even though he has the rest of the season ahead of him, shows that they are not happy with the situation either. Best for all parties if he goes now

Really poor from BOS. All of us understand that a player will one day look to move on to bigger and better things but there’s ways and means of doing it. You don’t have to be completely selfish in the way you achieve this. He turned down a £5m agreed deal which would have enabled us to seek a replacement and then signed a pre contract agreement deliberately preventing us from obtaining a fee. By contrast Eze extended his contract enabling us to get the best possible fee for him. He understood that if another club want you they will end up paying a fee and the market wage. If we don’t reach an agreement make him train with the youth set up and prevent him from gaining any match fitness with the U23s. We owe him nothing. I take pleasure in seeing Eze succeed and wish him all the best. Looking forward to seeing BOS rot on the bench until he tries to force a move back to the Championship.

Unless he really is not willing to put a shift in for the rest of the season it is really stupid to leave him out of the team, particularly when we are both in a relegation battle and have done better of late playing with wing backs, where BOS has done well, and we don't look to have anyone else near as good to replace him as a WB.

Every manager in the world has an ego so big that they believe that they can succeed where everyone else, including managers who are objectively much better than them, have failed. Alongside the complete conviction that failure is never their fault, this is a prerequisite for a career in football management, because it means that the inevitable frequent sackings can be tolerated.

Sir Alex Ferguson gave up on Morrison and every one else should have chucked the towel in at that stage too.

No way, I'm usually quite sympathetic to our dealings but this would be plain stupid.

What is it they say about madness ... doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
Mr Morrison is proof that the saying is bang on!
Shouldn’t be entertained I’m afraid. He’s had his chances.

SRR, I agree with what you are saying about BOS and everyone connected with him. But I think it was us that used the 1 year contract extension rather then Eze. But we all know who would get a better reception should they come back to play against us.

You talk as if he's been sensational at wing back.
    He hasn't.
Plus, he's not half as good as he, or some on here think he is.
He's got strength and pace, but his first touch is often a pass and his decision making needs a lot of work.
He may prove me wrong, but I suspect he may struggle out there.

Hallelujah, I thought I was the only one blind to his talents. Decent player, no more, ' £5m would have been an incredible bit of business for him for us. It’s up to him how he manages his career, but we won’t be talking about him in a years time, unlike Eze who we will always be interested in. Even more so than Sterling, I think (not comparing them as players, just thinking in terms of contribution to our entertainment as Rs).

No, I don't think and haven't said he's been sensational, he really needs to cross the ball a lot, lot, more than he's been doing. But as a LWB I think he's a lot better than Nico, and I can't think of anyone else that could play there for longer than the 15 minutes or so Albert or Willock would last there, even if they could defend well enough, which I doubt.

Who do you reckon will play there tomorrow, or are we going to abandon a formation that's worked well for us until and if we can find a replacement in the next 2 weeks?

I’d have liked to see him at RWB instead of Kane. Oh well.

Would be amazed if he doesn’t pick Niko regardless of formation. Wallace is missing presumed dead.

And Wallace, still alive I hope, wouldn't last much longer than Willock or Albert as a WB. Perhaps Warburton will give the 3 of them 20 minutes each.

Aaron Hughes played wing-back aged 47 at Charlton under Redknapp. He looked like someone’s dad filling in at 5-a-side though. We lost in the last minute. Good times.

The Belgian guy is left-footed I believe so if we’re scraping the barrel at least he should be fit.

If BOS does make the pitch and get game time, he’d better be on the mark straight away, Fenerbahce fans don’t take prisoners when it comes to having somebody to boo at, if BOS thinks what happened over here on Twitter was bad, my advise to him is too buy a tin hat and a fireproof suit because he will, as sure as eggs is eggs get his chestnuts roasted badly.
On the not being picked again if he stays, is at least consistent, and Knowing consistency isn’t a MW trait, I’m wondering if that comes from higher up the food chain than Warb’s desk.

Think de Wijs is also de injured, and when fit de CB! As is Barbet, a left footed CB I mean, and hopefully not injured too, but I struggle to see Barbet as a WB.

    Ah yes you’re right.

Suppose they could do the sensible thing and recall Shodipo.
