Hi again, got a selection headache with our local 7 a side team, we're taking part in a tournament today, I will list our players along with their strengths/weaknesses and preferred roles, I want to see the best way you FM experts would set up the team.

Matt 1 - Age:23 6'1" Nailed on as our keeper today, will switch with Andrew if in poor form or if Andrew is tired
Strengths - Fast, good finisher, fairly strong.
Weaknesses - Erratic form, cannot header, sometimes questionable decision making.

Matt 2 - Age 30 6'4" Defender in usual team although he does like to push up occasionally.
Strengths - Fair pace, Headering, decent tackling, reads the game, good long ball/crossing.
Weaknesses - Not very strong, sometimes gets caught in possession, tame shot.

Stu - Age 35 5'10" Defender. Pedigree from Sunday league, commands the team well.
Strengths - Strong, reads the game very well, leader, heads well, good shot, very good and tackling.
Weaknesses - Lost a yard of pace.

John - Age 31 5'10" Defender/Midfielder, used to be more attacking player, but has not played in a while.
Strengths - Strong-ish, fairly quick, OK shot, not afraid to tackle, good jump and header.
Weaknesses - Poor control at times, decision making at times.

Dan - Age 29 6'3" Prefers CM. Strong built player, lost ability through injuries to achilles.
Strengths - Very strong, power shot, long shot, reads game well, quite fast, ok skill.
Weaknesses - Gets caught in possession at times, poor decision making.

Kieron - Age 21 6'0" Former goalkeeper, now likes an attacking role. Must be used in 1st team as he organised team.
Strengths - Ok strength, very good jumping ability, good header.
Weaknesses - Poor shot, rarely tracks back, passing not up to scratch.

Ben - Age 18 6'0" Plays across the midfield, tends to drift to a flank as he likes to take on players.
    Strengths - Pace, long shot.
Weaknesses - Reading of game, not strong, tends to keep the ball too much and lose possession.

Andrew - Age 23 6'1" Prefers Wing/Striker, but not so adept in centre of field. Tricky player.
Strengths - Good acceleration, can easily beat a man, ok shot, strength, average header.
Weaknesses - Ankle weakness could be a problem, top speed isn't amazing, sometimes erratic form.

Luke - Age 25 5'10". Prefers midfield. Solid player, good sub to replace in centre or wing.
    Strengths - Passing.
Weaknesses - Pace and hasn't played in a while.

Mark - Age 16 5'10". Make up numbers, average at best.
    Strengths - Passing.
Weaknesses - Tame shot, gets tackled easily.

Please give your thoughts where the players should play. Usual formation Matt 1 has to start in goal please.

    Cheers <ok>

    Matt 1 in nets

Matt 2 and Stu in defence, Matt's height will act as a bluff for his lack of strength, tricking the opposition into taking on the stronger Stu. Matt's pace can cover Stu and he can welly upfield if needed.

Dan as a defensive midfielder, can add muscle to the defence, Stu will be right behind him to give him instructions and he can break on an attack.

Keiron and Ben as attacking wingers, behind Andrew. Keiron to get into the box to support Andrew and knock long balls down to him using his aerial advantage. Ben to act as the link between Dan and Andrew. Can drop into the middle to allow Keiron to act as second striker.

    ---------Matt1---------
    -----Matt2---Stu------
    ----------Dan----------
    ---Keiron-------Ben--
    --------Andrew-------

    Luke
    Mark
    John

pretty much this, except i'd maybe put Luke in the middle to dictate play in the middle with his passing (although his tendency to be caught in possession may be a problem
