If we manage to get a new striker and MGW is fully fit what do we think our best starting XI will be?
Glam - I think the ‘starting X1’ will be horses for courses in midfield. Away, especially against top half of the table teams, I think Cooper will start with Smith, Fulton and Grimes as the midfield 3. At home, I think he will start with MGW, plus any 2 of the previous 3. 3 CBs If all fit, Cabango, Bennett and Guehi. Wing backs Roberts & Bidwell Strikers If fit, Ayew and Lowe. The other strikers (existing or new) will be back ups. Goalkeeper Woody
Gutted that Gibbs-White has been recalled. White him and Palmer going back to their respective clubs, we are now very lightweight in midfield. We need replacement in very soon.
Pissed at the Gibbs White recall. We pay his wages whilst he’s out injured and as soon as he’s fit again they recall him. It sucks big time but that’s the loan system for you.
Is Garrick up to the same / better standard as CR23? I think not, so he needs someone to push him to maintain the standard.
Swansea City defender Tivonge Rushesha has signed a contract extension through to the end of the 2022-23 season. The 18-year-old had been due to be out of contract in the summer of 2022. Zimbabwean-born Rushesha is currently recovering from a serious knee injury he sustained in December. The Wales age-grade international made his first-team bow in last season’s Carabao Cup tie against Cambridge United, and has been one of several young players promoted to the senior squad under head coach Steve Cooper. please log in to view this image
