Bush and the Yanks love branding others terrorists, when the biggest terrorists in the world are in fact the Americans. First of all they think they can police the world, and decide who is and isn't allowed weapons of mass destruction, when in fact only one nation has ever used a weapon of mass destruction, and that was the Americans on the Japanese during the second world war. The word "terrorist" to me means a person or persons who kill innocent people, funnily enough the Americans have killed far more innocent people than Al Qaeda ever have. 99% of Afghanistan, are innocent people who had nothing to do with Al Qaeda, yet the Americans decide to bomb the whole country in the hope that one bomb might hit the intended target, killing nearly a million innocent people in the process. If this is not an act of terrorism, then I realy don't know what is. 9/11 was caused by the American government sticking there noses into other country's affairs, they have no right to tell other country's what weapons they can and can't have. The Americans have a massive army with plenty of dangerous weapons, so why shouldn't anyone else. Not that I agree with the actions of 9/11, but in all honesty the Americans had it coming, it's just ashame it was innocent Americans who lost there lives, rather than the real culprits, the American leaders. The Americans have upset so many country's over the years, that they are now totally paranoid that a country is going to hit them with a big bomb, so they are invading everywhere that they feel could have dangerous weapons. Maybe if they hadn't stuck there noses into others affairs, then they wouldn't have to be looking over there shoulders, the whole time
So I guess you don't believe in freedom? Voting rights for women? Democracy? Why don't we go back to the dark ages? Freedom isn't free. Fact!
Did you get that from "The Big Book of WW2 Clichés"? The American government was in fact quite keen to join in the war. However, the voting public felt it unnecessary to get involved in another European war so soon after WW1 and the Great Depression. Frankly one of the better decisions the American public have made really. The attitudes in Europe at the time were severely outdated.
The British voting public also weren't so keen to declare war on Germany in 1939. We were militarily weaker than the Nazis and the decision to try and defend Poland could well have led to Britain being conquered. It still didn't stop our government from doing the right thing.
America, what a joke country. You pride yourselves on being patriots and 'real Americans' when everyone knows you are all descendants of immigrants. The only 'real Americans' are Native Americans as they were there first until your forefathers arrived and conquered them and stole their land.
