    Well done to the team.<applause>

    9-0 is a significant achievement in anyone’s book. Yes, they were down to 10 for most of the match and they were missing many first teamers. You can only deal with what’s in front of you.

    what was good was the team kept on going even after 4, 5 goals. Normally this team would have ****ing stopped and conserved their energy. When the subs were introduced I thought there we go again, give some match time to those players and keep what we’ve got. But Ole and his coaches pushed for more. The full backs especially Shaw played a key part and there was a degree of patience which was great.

    (sorry for being all positive. No reservations about this and that and no negativity. I am sure some are waiting for the right result to unload. The opportunities for this will come, hopefully not too often)

    Yeah, probably next time we play decent opposition.

    At least though, you offer an insight.

    You don't just wait for a good result before popping a long to slate anyone dare question the ****e results that preceded it.

    <ok>

    proves my point about taking pot shots. You can’t help it can you ? <laugh>

    Why can’t people enjoy a good performance on its own without harking back to a previous bad one or worrying about a future one? The progress made by the manager is there whether some can see it or not. There is no guarantee of any other manager doing better. FFS we’ve had the proof with Van Gaal and Mourinho. Brilliant on paper but turned into real ****ing dog **** when managing here.

    It's not a pot shot, it's a statement of fact.

    So far this season we have accrued nil nil draws v Liverpool, City, Arsenal (plus one defeat) and Chelsea, and lost heavily at home to Spurs.

    These are our historic 'big' top six rivals, and we've been found wanting. It's not even open for discussion, it's just a flat out fact of this season.

    What do you expect us to say? Seriously? That this has not actually happened and all is rosy in the garden?

    Progress and that. Bollocks mate.

    Facts as a famous RS manager said. Did any one dispute those? but do you have to bring up these facts each time we have a good performance? in case we forget them? Remind me to call you when I am down in the dumps mate. Not.

    Tbf nobody was mentioning it until Glazerfodder came on to use the match as an excuse to "hark back to it" and have a dig at others over the very points you've just mentioned. The irony of him liking your post is not lost either.
