    Because it is, relatively speaking.
You've got a bunch of good players, massive resources and a load of prospects coming through the academy every year.
That's a much better position to be in than most clubs.

We also don't get to see what the question he was asked was.
"I believe Chelsea always has great players and great squads and good coaches are happy to work with these clubs and with players that give you a very good opportunity to be successful and to win titles."
"Then I understand your question, and of course a coach needs time and needs stability and is a very good thing to feel stability."

I don't understand the question, as it's been completely omitted.
He was probably asked if it was hard to manage Chelsea.

Because it implies that managing Spurs isn't?

Everything's about him and how great he is.

I remember when he was Chelsea manager and he used to snipe at Klopp and Poch and say how it was harder than other clubs because finishing 4th at Chelsea wasn’t success when at other clubs it was considered a big achievement.

I know some have warmed to him as a man even if not a manager but for me, I can’t stand Jose the man or manager.

So the Brighton defeat was the first time that Jose had lost his first 3 games at a stadium.

Today is the first time he’s lost back to back home games in his career.

    Record breaker

He'll be spoken of in the same breath as Juande Ramos

    Again...

He'll be cherished and missed as much as George Graham and Juande Ramos was :bandit:

If results like tonight, Brighton and Pool persist, Jose won't even have the chance to win the League Cup so it's pretty much a moot point anyway.

Agree, lose on Sunday and Levy will (rightly) be considering changing manager.

One thing I'm getting tired of seeing, especially from the Reddit crowd, it the mantra "He took us from 16th to 6th last season"

Here's the reason why that fails: when he took over we were three points off 5th, and at the end of the season we were...three points off fifth

Jose only publicly falls out with players he feels are much better than their showing.
Some are soft arses and sulk, others accept the kick up the arse and start to prove him wrong (right).

Not always a good tactic from a manager but certainly sorts the wheat from the chaff in a lot of cases. You will notice that in most cases Jose continues to play the one's he lambasts as opposed to Poch who just froze them out.

So basically he kept your points tally up with 5th whilst the 10 teams in between you all fell away.
    Would Poch have done that?

Pochettino didn't freeze anyone out in the last 2-3 years. Walker was sold cos he demanded to to leave and something happened with Trippier.
But Rose, Eriksen, Dier, Dele and Alderweireld all actively tried to leave or put in awful performances (dele) or publicly acted like a disrespectful mouthy twat ( Rose) yet continue to be in the first team.
That was one of Pochettino's worst failings imo.

These are some of the bookies odds as to who could potentially replace Jose if he’s sacked.

    Brendan Rodgers 2/1
    Julian Nagelsmann 4/1
    Rafa Benitez 7/1
    Max Allegri 9/1
    Eddie Howe 10/1
    Scott Parker 12/1
    Mauricio Pochettino 16/1
    Steven Gerrard 25/1
    Frank Lampard 50/1

I don’t see Rodgers leaving Leicester for Spurs at the moment. He’s got a good thing there and probably wants to see an end result of some sort.

Nagelsmann is probably seen as the best young manager in Europe. Would he leave Leipzig for us? Unsure.

Benitez has been a great manager but I feel he’s a bit too similar to Jose with style so not sure that’d go down well with fans.

Allegri was who I wanted when Poch was sacked. Think he’s waiting for a top, top job, possibly Madrid to replace Zidane.

Howe’s ship has sailed. Wouldn’t want him at Spurs right now, needs to re-prove himself.

Parker too inexperienced right now in my opinion.

Poch 16/1 when he’s just joined PSG? <laugh>.

Gerrard’s done a good job at Rangers and they’re on course to end Celtic’s run of dominance of late but in a two-team league it’s “easier” to do so. Wouldn’t say no to him but he’d be far down the list for me.

Lampard... No. Not because of Chelsea status but because I haven’t been impressed him with him at both Derby and Chelsea.

The manager I’d like to see given a shot should Jose go isn’t even on the list <laugh>. I think Potter could be a really smart appointment and I say that for any top 6-8 side. I think like Rodgers/ Pochettino he’s that style of manager who doesn’t require an enormous budget but can coach and improve particular players and so with better resources could potentially do some serious damage in the league. Brighton’s expected goals this season is 6th best, if he had a top striker in his team they’d be so much higher than where they currently are.

i can accept that he can’t do it maybe...because once again I have to weigh up the players contributions...but I’m not willing to fall for the hyperbole when people say he hasnt done it for many many years. This is the kind of bullshit you need to filter through. He won 3 trophies 3 years ago so why is that **** talkin lies enough to convince?

This is my problem you see...if he’s not good enough for us then fine but the lies and talkin outa their arse knowing they have a free reign because everyone believe the bullshit when it comes to Jose...is just not for me.

but then again it’s ESPN...probably the most unprofessional of tv channels. When we were doing decent they were still having major pops at the club and off camera a few of their staff wer filmed takin piss out of Kane etc...they full of ****.
